Čínska značka Xiaomi vyvíja svoje ultra-rýchle 200 W nabíjanie už niekoľko rokov. Určite poznáš zariadenia so 67 W nabíjaním ako Xiaomi 11T alebo 120 W nabíjaním ako Xiaomi MIX 4. Pri vývoji ešte rýchlejšej a efektívnejšej technológie sa však vyskytol technický problém a tak pripravovaný model Xiaomi MIX 5 dostane o čosi pomalší výkon, na úrovni „len“ 150 W.
Xiaomi MIX 5 will include 150 W charging
Fast charging has become one of the most important parts of today’s flagship smartphones. And currently, Xiaomi is preparing mass serial production of its 150 W charger, which should become part of the equipment of the upcoming device Xiaomi MIX 5.
Even though the previous model MIX 4 has not even left China yet, the manufacturer is preparing the next generation. The first leaks about the MIX 5 smartphone, for example, suggested it would include up to 200× zoom.
On the Chinese social network Weibo, another piece of information about the aforementioned 150 W charger has now appeared. Xiaomi, however, delivers the highest possible charging power in its flagship models, so it’s likely that the new charger will be included in multiple upcoming smartphones and will have exactly this capacity.
200 W Hypercharge charging is not lost
To date, we list the brand’s fastest charging as – 120 W power. This charger is supported by devices such as Xiaomi 11T Pro or Xiaomi 12 Pro, while these smartphones can charge to full capacity in just 15 minutes.
Ultra-fast charging with a 150 W capacity should bring an even shorter charging time. On the other hand, it’s also necessary to consider the impact of this charging on battery life in the long run. The manufacturer may test the conditions in a lab, but in practice it may be different.
Okrúhly výkon na úrovni 200 W je však v prípade čínskej spoločnosti Xiaomi skôr otázkou času. Funkčný koncept tohto zabíjania sme mohli vidieť pri uvedení technológie Hypercharge, avšak je možné, že táto technológia je stále príliš nákladná na sériovú výrobu, a takisto sa pri tejto novej technológii mohol vyskytnúť určitý technický problém. Toto nabíjanie nás však pravdepodobne neminie.
