Rumors about the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone have been circulating on the internet for a long time, and it’s one of the most eagerly awaited models for the second half of the year 2021. But now we’re finally getting official information about this smartphone, which Xiaomi has released directly to the world.
Xiaomi 11T Pro confirmed with ultra-fast charging too
Xiaomi has a big global conference scheduled for 15. September, where it will unveil several major updates. Besides the expected Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, we’ll also get the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone, which the manufacturer has now officially confirmed on its Twitter profile.
Xiaomi shared a post with a video from the well-known YouTuber Unbox Therapy, who is apparently involved in the marketing promotion of the new model. In the post, they reveal the super-fast 120 W charging that will be integrated into the new Xiaomi 11T Pro model.
The official post about the expected model was even shared by the Czech branch of the Xiaomi manufacturer on its Facebook. Their video also shows a 120 W adapter, which will most likely be included in the package. In the video, we can also spot the smartphone’s name itself, as they confirm the removal of the “Mi” label from the names of their products.
For additional confirmation, the equally fast charging was also introduced for the recently unveiled innovative Xiaomi MIX 4, where the manufacturer claims a charge from 0 to 100% in just 21 minutes! For the 11T Pro, we expect a similar charging time.
What do we know so far about the Xiaomi 11T Pro?
Based on the information we know so far, the new device will be positioned in the high-end segment. Unlike its predecessors, which had IPS displays, this time we should get OLED displays with a high refresh rate of around 120 Hz. We also expect the presence of the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor; there are also reports of a 108 MPx camera and a 5000 mAh battery.

In the new 11T series, we should see a total of two models, and besides the Pro version, the manufacturer will also introduce a standard model. The more affordable 11T will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and a 64-megapixel triple-camera setup.
Expected prices won’t be good news
The new models will be sold in two memory variants: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB of storage. The European retailer listed the prices 740 euros and 772 euros for the standard Xiaomi 11T model.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro will cost 886 euros for the cheaper configuration and 917 euros for the more expensive variant. These models are expected to be available in three colors, such as Celestial Blue, Moonlight White, and Meteor Grey.
