The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi still hasn’t wrapped up its Redmi Note 12 smartphone series. Under its sub-brand, it will therefore unveil another novelty for 2023.

Redmi Note 12: The series will get one more smartphone for 2023

The Redmi Note 12 smartphone series is currently available on the Chinese and Indian markets. However, it’s expected that this series will also reach other sales markets—already in the coming weeks. Xiaomi, the tech giant, isn’t sitting still either, and is already working on new Redmi Note models.

In May 2022, we got to see the Chinese models Redmi Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+. These powerful mid-range devices offered an LCD display and a fingerprint scanner on the side frame. At the same time, it was a custom-made LCD panel certified with DisplayMate A+. Back then, the company claimed that the Redmi Note 11T series offers the best LCD screen to date.

The upcoming Note 12 Turbo smartphone

According to new leak information, the upcoming Redmi Note smartphone will feature an OLED display with an integrated fingerprint sensor. An informant from China also claims on the social network Weibo that this device will be equipped with a Snapdragon, 7-series chip.

However, there’s a chance that this tip refers to the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which was already part of previous leak information. Based on the available details, the new model will arrive with a 6.67″ OLED display.

This panel will offer Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It’s also expected to come with a new Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset, which hasn’t been officially introduced yet.

The device should offer up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It will also include a 5500 mAh battery and 67 W fast charging. In addition, it will impress with a 50 MPx main camera and an 8 MPx or 2 MPx sensor.
