The new Xiaomi 15 flagship phones are already on the way and will be officially unveiled in just a few hours. However, on the Chinese social network Weibo, more leaks of technical specifications have already appeared, and we’re bringing you them translated into Slovak now.
Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro: These are the new leaked specs!
The design language of the devices continues the established trend—both smartphones will feature flat edges, as well as a prominent rear camera module. We can also look forward to evenly sized bezels around the display, including the lower “chin” that is eliminated, while the inspiration for the used screen-bending technology in the construction comes from nature—specifically amber.
The bezels around the display will be just 1.38 mm thick, and the maximum screen brightness of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will be up to 3200 nits. Performance will be handled by the new flagship chip Snapdragon 8 Elite (Snapdragon 8 Gen 4), offering up to 45% more performance and, on the other hand, 52% lower battery power consumption. The results are also helped by an entirely new HyperCore core, in Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 system.
Excellent power efficiency even in mobile games, 5 x optical zoom, and up to 6100 mAh
Mobile gamers will also be satisfied. The manufacturer praises the gaming experience from a graphically demanding 3D game, where even after 1 hour of play, at 2K resolution, support for almost 60 fps doesn’t miss—and the device temperature stays at a tolerable level of 42.1 °C. Power consumption in this setup, meanwhile, is just 73.7 mW.
The powerful rear camera module will offer a ceramic “DECO” design. And the quad of integrated sensors will include a periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 10x lossless zoom won’t be missing either. This applies to the Xiaomi 15 Pro model.
The built-in battery has also been improved. It offers, for now, the highest energy density ever for Xiaomi devices, at 850 Wh/L. Battery capacity has also increased—to an incredible 6100 mAh for the Xiaomi 15 Pro. We don’t yet know the charging speed or the supported charging standards.
