Xiaomi has just introduced its latest smart band from perhaps the most well-known Smart Band series worldwide—formerly also called Mi Band. Specifically, we’re seeing the milestone release Xiaomi Smart Band 10, which—despite the round naming—doesn’t look like it brings many new features at first glance. But it’s starting to show up in online stores, and it’s getting increasing attention.
Smooth display with minimal bezels
The new model comes with an upgraded 1.72-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, putting it again in a strong position among affordable fitness bands.
The display is undoubtedly one of the most notable upgrades of the new Smart Band 10. The 1.72-inch AMOLED panel with thin symmetrical bezels and a maximum brightness of up to 1500 nits delivers excellent visibility even when you’re using it in direct sunlight. As you probably know, a 60 Hz refresh rate means interactions with the display feel instant, and the operating system animations should be smoother.
Again, more than impressive battery life
When it comes to battery life, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 can boast up to 21 days of use on a single charge, reducing the need for frequent charging. It also supports fast charging, so users can get back to their fitness routines in just a few dozen minutes.
The new model also brings broader health and fitness tracking options, including new sports modes supported by HDN ISO technology. Improved sleep-tracking algorithms provide more detailed and useful data, making the Band 10 a reliable companion for anyone who values a healthy lifestyle.
Xiaomi Smart Band 10 runs on HyperOS 2
Xiaomi also improved the software by using its own operating system HyperOS 2. This system ensures better optimization, a clearer interface, and improved compatibility with other devices in the Xiaomi ecosystem. That means users will get faster access to new features and important updates.
The global version of the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 will include four color variants: silver, pink, ceramic, and black. The price in the USA is set at roughly $40, and in Europe at €49.99, which is a slight increase compared to the previous models. The ceramic version—originally exclusive to China—will now also be available on international markets.
Xiaomi Smart Band 10 will roll out to multiple markets
Xiaomi plans to distribute the Band 10 to Europe, Latin America, North America, and Asia. An interesting case came up even before the product’s official launch. One user on Reddit shared their first impressions of using the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 before it was officially released.
This band was purchased through the local market in Kazakhstan. However, they quickly found out that the Mi Fitness app doesn’t recognize the band because there was no official support for this model. The product later appeared on Amazon Italy, where it’s currently being sold for around €62, which is a higher price than you’d expect after the official sales start.
