The new product, called Xiaomi Smart Camera 3 Pro, starts selling on the well-known marketplace Aliexpress. The advantage is fast 15-day delivery without having to pay any customs duties.

Info: The camera is currently available only in the Chinese version and will work via the Chinese server in the Mi Home app. In the app settings, you need to select the region as Mainland China. Another option is to use a modified Mi Home app by Vevs, which can combine European and Chinese devices in one place.

Buying on AliExpress for the first time?

This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

1. Copy the code and click GET THE DISCOUNTIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET THE DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart, not Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and click Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—this skips the cart, so later you won’t have a place to enter the coupon. Before that, make sure the variant is correct: color, version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Continue to Checkout via the cartA pop-up will appear: Added to cart!—tap Check it out. If it disappeared, open the cart using the icon in the bottom-right corner. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then tap the red Checkout button. Only the items marked with the red circle are included.
4. Fill in your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first enter the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below that, there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

6. Check your savings and payIn the section Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

Apply the discount again in the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can’t add a coupon anymore. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your item, or your order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

Store Coupon also belongs in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes day to day. It can’t be combined with an AliExpress coupon, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

Xiaomi Smart Camera 3 Pro: 3K resolution, AI and night mode with HDR

After the recent launch of the Xiaomi Smart Camera 3 model, the company also brings us a Pro version of this model. It has an improved module and the sensor itself, as well as enhanced image quality, especially in low light and dim conditions.

The Pro version of the smart camera builds on its predecessors and features an elongated body in a matte white color scheme. The device dimensions are 78 × 78 × 124 mm and its weight is 327 g. It has a swivel joint of 360° and a viewing angle of up to 114°. Thanks to that, you can capture an entire room in practically any placement.

Mijia security chip and Bluetooth 5.2

On the front, there is an integrated 5 MPx sensor supporting up to 3K Ultra-Clear resolution (2960 x 1666 pixels). It supports the H.265 codec and also includes infrared LEDs for night vision.

Unlike the base model, it also comes with support for HDR technology, which significantly improves image capture in poor lighting conditions. The camera’s operating temperature ranges from -10 °C to +45 °C.

Example connectivity is ensured by Wi-Fi connectivity (Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), as well as Bluetooth version 5.2. There is also support for a mobile app. Another advantage is the AI algorithm for recognizing and tracking people in the recording.

Your recordings will stay secure thanks to the built-in security chip Mijia MJA1. For long-distance communication, you’ll get two-way calls up to 8 meters thanks to the integrated microphone and speaker. You can also store your current recordings on a microSD memory card, up to 256 GB.
