The Chinese brand Xiaomi is also adding this new and affordable smart TV to its portfolio, with the official model name Xiaomi TV P1E. This time it comes with a screen size of up to 65″, it offers 4K resolution, as well as Dolby Vision support and the Android TV operating system.
Xiaomi TV P1E 65″: 4K IPS LCD panel and Dolby Vision
Just a few days ago, we introduced you to the new series of smart TVs called Xiaomi TV F2. Now, the global market is getting a new addition with the name Xiaomi TV P1E—in other words, a smart TV that was introduced earlier on the Chinese market. The new model has a screen size of up to 65″, and following its siblings, it brings a very good price-to-performance ratio.
After the 43″ and 55″ models, this time you can look forward to a 65″ screen. The TV offers a modern design with an ultra-thin frame, as well as solid functional features and connectivity. On the front, you’ll find a 65″ IPS LCD panel with 4K resolution (Ultra HD, 60 Hz, MEMC technology). There’s also support for Dolby Vision, which delivers better brightness and a realistic level of detail.
You also get an integrated processor from Xiaomi, paired with a graphics chip Mali G52, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage. A 20 W stereo audio system ensures a great music experience from movies or multimedia, with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.
The Android TV operating system includes built-in Chromecast, the Play Store for apps, and Google Assistant for controlling your smart home or searching on the TV. Connectivity is handled by a trio of HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, an AV port, an Ethernet port, an antenna input, plus Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth (5.0) technology.
The dimensions of this TV are 1458 x 86 x 840 mm (without the stand) or 1458 x 354 x 909 mm (with the stand). The weight of this model is then 18,4 kilograms.
Price and availability of the new smart TV
The Xiaomi TV P1E model with a 65″ screen is already being sold today through Xiaomi’s official manufacturer website. The asking price for the global version is set at 549 €. However, this price is introductory, and after the end of the “early bird” promotion, it will rise to the final 699 €. The new TV is currently available only in Spain, but we expect its availability to expand to other European countries over time.
