At Xiaomi’s press conference, besides new smartphones from the Xiaomi 13 series, it also unveiled accessories such as an upgraded generation of smartwatches labeled Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro: 1.47″ AMOLED display and 14-day battery life
The new smartwatches Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro come with premium construction materials, as well as a strap. They feature a 1.47″ AMOLED display with a rotating crown and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Two color options will be available, including a silver case with a brown leather strap and a black case with a black fluororubber strap.
You can customize the watch display with a hundred digital watch faces. In addition, there’s an advanced synchronization algorithm that eliminates delays when receiving notifications between devices. These watches offer very fast “pop-up” pairing, which you’ll use when working with a Xiaomi smartphone.
Smartwatch tracks real-time data for more than 100 sports activities. For runners, there are also 10 programs, preconfigured to suit various fitness needs, including a run/walk combination for beginners or training focused on fat burning/endurance, and even interval training specifically designed to strengthen heart and lung health.
Health tracking is also included, e.g. burned calories, workout intensity, sleep monitoring, heart rate, or SpO2 tracking – the amount of oxygen in the blood. The watches offer battery life on a single charge of up to 14 days, fast charging, as well as 10-minute battery charging that provides up to two days of normal use.
The watches also include a powerful speaker for phone calls, plus an algorithm for suppressing ambient noise during Bluetooth connections. In addition, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro smartwatch model comes with a practical wireless charging dock that can charge the device to 100% in just 85 minutes.
Like their older Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active models, these watches also support contactless payments via NFC. However, payments still work only with Mastercard cards and supported banks, which you can find on this page.
Price and availability of the new smartwatches
The new Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro smartwatches in Slovakia will be sold at an official retail price of €329 through Xiaomi’s official channels. Sales are scheduled to start from 27 February 2023.
