The HX Outdoors axe measures 330 x 135 mm, while the blade itself is 96 mm long. The weight is 742 g and it’s made from high-quality steel labeled 440C.
It’s stainless steel with a high carbon content, which maintains a high hardness-to-other-materials ratio. That’s why the axe is suitable for chopping various materials, such as iron or steel.
Its sand-colored handle has an ergonomic shape, making it easy to maneuver the axe. The blade extends at a 60° angle toward the front, and its profile is shaped like the letter V—allowing you to chop branches or trees at different angles in practice.
In the middle of the metal part with the blade, there’s a geometric cut-out that can serve as a tightening wrench for hex screws in case of emergency. On the opposite side of the blade, there’s a hammer.
