The Xiaoda branded lamp works on the principle of high-efficiency UV radiation, which, together with oxygen ions in the air, kills a wide spectrum of viruses and bacteria in its surroundings.
Destroys elements of the Chinese coronavirus
UV radiation successfully eliminates elements of the latest coronavirus as well. Bacteria and viruses exposed to this UV radiation lose their vitality and ability to reproduce.
During testing, the Xiaoda lamp successfully killed Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, Protococcus versicolor, and other 5 types of bacteria.
Its radiation is so effective that the manufacturer issued a warning not to stay near it during operation—for humans or animals. Exposure to direct radiation is prohibited.
Just 30 minutes
Effective sterilization is achieved after 30 minutes of operation in a space of about 2 m³ and within a 360° radius. The device is activated by a three-second press of the button, while the user has 30 seconds to leave the room. After this interval, the UV tube lights up, producing the radiation.
The sterilizing lamp automatically stops after 30 minutes, when it reaches a 99.9 % sterilization rate.
It’s suitable for use in smaller rooms, in the bathroom, WC, but also for example in a refrigerator turned off with no food. The UV sterilizing lamp by Xiaoda is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 700 mAh, which lasts for one to two sterilization cycles.
It charges via a mains adapter through a microUSB connector, and it can also be in operation while charging.
