Perfect review from our fan:
For the new carpet cleaner, we also got a short review from one of our customers who previously used an older model that was once very popular from our offers. Even though both devices have a similar design, based on his experience, the difference in cleaning power is literally “heaven and earth.”
“The carpet cleaner is great so far. Just add water and everything is conveniently controlled directly on the handle. After pressing the button once, the water heats up to about 50 °C; a double press activates the steam. With the lower button, I then start the water or steam, and with the upper button separately I turn on the suction. What’s very practical is that you can control each function separately and switch between modes right on the nozzle. We’re very satisfied with the device so far.”
The customer also says that their previous carpet cleaner was more like a toy compared with the new model. The biggest difference they noticed was mainly in cleaning effectiveness—being able to use hot water or steam—and the convenient control of all functions directly on the handle.

Another fan shared a video and photos from their cleaning in the comments in our Xiaomi Planet community group, so the difference is clearly noticeable. The demonstration is on a carpet.
ROUNY U2 Heat offers three cleaning modes
The biggest new feature of the ROUNY U2 Heat model is three separate cleaning modes. The first uses cold water and is ideal for everyday maintenance or quickly removing fresh stains. The second mode works with hot water at a temperature of about 50 °C, which handles grease and deeply embedded dirt more effectively.
However, the most interesting is the steam mode. The upholstery washer generates steam at around 100 °C, helping to disinfect surfaces, neutralize odors, and soften dried stains before you even start extracting. This combination of steam and subsequent suction makes a big difference compared to standard budget upholstery cleaners.
Cleaning without chemicals—just clean water
A major advantage of the ROUNY U2 Heat upholstery washer is the ability to clean effectively without adding chemical solutions or cleaning agents. According to the manufacturer, you pour only clean water into the tank, while dirt is removed through a combination of water flow, temperature, the brush’s mechanical action, and then suction. At home, you don’t need scented products, and you won’t have to deal with leftover cleaning solution trapped in the fibers after cleaning.
This method can be especially handy for cleaning mattresses, kids’ carpets, sofas, or upholstery that often comes into contact with skin.
Cold water is suitable for everyday maintenance and fresh stains. Water heated to about 50 °C helps loosen grease and tougher dirt, while steam at around 100 °C softens dried stains, neutralizes odors, and supports hygienic treatment of the surface.
How exactly does the cleaning work?
All main functions are controlled directly on the handle. With the mode selection button, you switch between cold water, hot water, and steam—the selected mode is indicated by a color indicator light. Blue is for cold water, yellow is for heating water to about 40 to 50 °C, and red is for the steam mode with a temperature of about 100 °C. With a separate lower button, you start spraying water or steam, and with the upper button you activate suction independently.
During cleaning, you first wet or steam the soiled area. With the brush on the head, you loosen dirt from the fibers, then press the head firmly against the surface. By moving it toward you, the upholstery washer sucks the dirty water into a separate waste container. In the hot and steam modes, you need to wait for preheating—during that time the indicator light blinks and you can’t activate spraying.
Power 1300 W and suction 13 kPa
The new generation comes with a more powerful motor with a power input of up to 1300 W, while the suction power reaches 13 kPa. The manufacturer states a commercial suction level, allowing the upholstery washer to efficiently extract dirty water from textiles and significantly reduce drying time.
During cleaning, you first spray water or steam directly into the fabric. Then the brush loosens the dirt, and the system immediately extracts it into a separate container. In practice, this means less moisture in the upholstery and faster drying of the sofa, armchair, or mattress.
ROUNY U2 Heat uses two separate tanks. The clean water tank has a capacity of up to 1400 ml, and the waste water tank offers 1200 ml. This lets you clean multiple pieces of furniture without constantly refilling or pouring out water.
Both tanks are easy to remove, and the manufacturer also designed it for simple maintenance. Even the float mechanism and the brush head cover are removable, making routine cleaning after use much easier.
Suitable for sofas, mattresses, carpets, and car seats
The manufacturer states compatibility with a wide range of materials. You can use the upholstery washer on cotton, linen, polyester, velvet, nylon, microfiber, and even mixed textiles. It’s great for cleaning sofas, armchairs, mattresses, carpets, upholstered chairs, or the interior of your car.
The very versatility was one of the reasons why our previous generation became a favorite of our readers. The new model builds on that success and delivers even higher efficiency on stubborn stains that regular carpet cleaners often can’t remove on the first try.
Despite the higher power, the device remains relatively compact. Dimensions are 37 × 25 × 33.5 cm and the weight is approximately 5 kg. The hose is 1.1 m long and the power cord offers 3 m, ensuring a sufficient reach for cleaning most rooms.
The manufacturer didn’t forget about safety features either. You won’t miss overheating protection, water leak protection, or dry-running protection. So you can use the carpet cleaner with confidence even for longer cleaning sessions on larger areas.
