Buying on AliExpress for the first time?

This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

1. Copy the code and click GET THE DISCOUNTIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET THE DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart, not Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and click Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—this skips the cart, so later you won’t have a place to enter the coupon. Before that, make sure the variant is correct: color, version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Continue to Checkout via the cartA pop-up will appear: Added to cart!—tap Check it out. If it disappeared, open the cart using the icon in the bottom-right corner. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then tap the red Checkout button. Only the items marked with the red circle are included.
4. Fill in your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first enter the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below that, there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

   

5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

   

6. Check your savings and payIn the section Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

   

Apply the discount again in the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can’t add a coupon anymore. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your item, or your order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

Store Coupon also belongs in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes day to day. It can’t be combined with an AliExpress coupon, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

We ordered them too—delivered in 15 days

We liked the Xiaomi ecosystem gloves too, so we decided to order them to test. We chose a sporty model, where sizes are also available. On 10 October we placed the AliExpress order, and the seller was really fast—they shipped the package the very next day after the order was placed.

For this product, only one shipping method is available—AliExpress Standard Shipping, which we highly recommend choosing for every AliExpress order. The package arrived on 25 October, and delivery from the Chinese warehouse took a great 15 days. What surprised us even more is that the package was delivered by a SPS courier, not by the Slovak Post.

For packages this cheap, we’re usually more used to SK Post. On delivery, we didn’t have to pay any extra fees at all, not even any processing fee. The package was even labeled with the seller’s name, specifically “Cainiao – XiaoMi Mijia Fans Store,” and the address label lists Hungary as the country of origin, or more precisely Budapest. It looks like AliExpress has set up several logistics centers in Europe for sellers, through which packages flow to end customers.

As for the gloves themselves, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials. The gloves have a water-resistant surface on the outside, and the inside “palm” area is coated with a rubber anti-slip pattern. On the fingers, they’re designed so you can easily operate your smartphone display in them. We tested controlling a Xiaomi MIX 4 phone and it works great.

The inside of the gloves is made with a comfortable, soft lining that keeps your hands warm. The gloves are made by the Golovejoy brand. We ordered size L, which we usually wear, and it fits perfectly. The gloves are really well made, and we definitely recommend them.

Two Xiaomi glove models, each for different purposes

The first model from this pair of gloves is suitable for both men and women. They’re sturdy and high quality—tech fans will also appreciate the option to control a smartphone (or even a touch display) with them. Because they’re covered with a water-resistant layer, they won’t have any trouble with snow either.

What’s more, they also handle strong wind very well—the cold air won’t get inside. That’s useful during cold winter evenings, so your hands stay nice and warm. The inside is comfortable to the touch, while the outside is anti-slip, so your smartphone won’t slip out of your hands in winter. The gloves are available in red, blue and gray.

You can order the second model in one of the three available colors. You can choose from sizes S, M, L, or XL. It has the same water-resistant layer and non-slip surface as the previous model. However, it’s warmer, making it ideal for even colder weather.

Ideal for sports

This is a model designed mainly for sports. While cycling with these gloves, your fingers will never get cold. They’re also great for skiing. With your thumb, index finger, and middle finger, you can control the touchscreen of your smartphone without having to take the gloves off.
