Xiaomi presents the premium modular soundbar Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 with surround sound and a 200 W subwoofer

Our favorite Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi brings a new addition to its soundbar lineup. This is the premium modular Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 with surround sound and comes with a 200 W subwoofer.

Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4: Modular design and 200 W subwoofer

The new premium soundbar Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 impresses right away with its modular design. You can split the main unit into three separate speakers, achieving truly realistic surround sound for your games or multimedia content.

Once you separate the structure, you remove one front module and two side speakers. These parts are also independent, with their own built-in battery, and connect wirelessly to the sound source itself.

Apart from this unique design, it’s a genuinely powerful audio device. Total power is up to 450 W and is distributed across 12 drivers integrated into the individual modules.

Plus, there’s also a large subwoofer with a size of 8″ and power of 200 W. Thanks to that, you’ll get a deep, cinema-level experience.

Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS-X, as well as eARC (with 4K video passthrough), and offers a rich set of ports. This includes 1 x USB port, 1 x optical audio port, 1 x coaxial port, 1 x HDMI (out) and 1 x HDMI (in). Along with the soundbar, you also get a remote control with multiple functions, including an equalizer.

Price and availability of the new modular soundbar

The new product called Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 is currently available for sale only in the home market, the Chinese market. The official retail price is set at 3999 Chinese yuan.

In the current conversion, that’s roughly €527. However, we currently don’t have any further information about potential global availability. So you’ll have to make do with offers from international sellers.
