The brand Amazfit has introduced new premium sports watches Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra, aimed especially at demanding runners, trail runners, and athletes who need extreme battery endurance, precise GPS, and advanced training features.

The new model builds on the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro, but in practically every way it goes even further. The manufacturer brings a larger AMOLED display, a significantly larger battery, a titanium body, offline maps, and new AI features in the system Zepp OS.

At first glance, it’s clear that Amazfit is targeting a higher category this time. The watches feature construction from Grade 5 titanium, known for its high durability and low weight. Titanium is used not only in the frame, but also on the bottom part of the watch body. The display is also protected by sapphire glass, which is a huge plus for sports watches.
The highlight of the front is the new 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 480 px and a maximum brightness of up to 3000 nits. This is one of the highest values among smartwatches overall. The display stays perfectly readable even in harsh sunlight or during high-altitude runs. Compared to the Cheetah 2 Pro model, you also get a bigger panel with a finer resolution.
With this model, Amazfit is getting closer and closer to the competition like Garmin Fenix, COROS Vertix, or Suunto Vertical. What’s interesting, though, is that it still keeps a clearly lower price for the equipment you get. The new Cheetah 2 Ultra don’t just look like a sports watch, but also like elegant smartwatches suitable for everyday wear.
Extreme battery life up to 30 days
One of the main attractions of the new model is undoubtedly its battery life. Amazfit equipped the Cheetah 2 Ultra with a battery capacity of 780 mAh, which is roughly a 44% increase over the Cheetah 2 Pro (540 mAh) model.
The result is battery life up to 30 days with normal use. With continuous GPS tracking in the trail running mode, the manufacturer claims numbers of about 33 hours. If you use the watches for hiking, ultra runs, or multi-day sports activities, this is a huge advantage. The watches also support dual-band GPS and communication with up to 6 satellite systems at once.
Offline maps and navigation right on the watch
Amazfit also put significant work into navigation features. The new model offers full-color offline maps with contour lines and detailed terrain display. Combined with the new GPS antenna and dual-frequency positioning, it’s a very capable navigation tool even for demanding conditions.
The watches support automatic route recalculation when turning, navigation by points, route loop planning, and finding interesting places directly from your watch. With internal storage capacity of 64 GB, you can save a large number of maps and music for offline playback.
Advanced training features and an AI coach
The new release is aimed primarily at athletes, and the training options reflect that. Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra supports more than 180 sports modes, including HYROX training, strength training, or trail running with elevation and load analysis.
A major highlight is the new BioCharge system, which combines HRV data, sleep quality, blood oxygenation, and breathing into a single readiness score. It also includes VO2 Max, training load tracking, the lactate threshold, and the AI Zepp Coach, which creates personalized training plans.
Zepp OS, Bluetooth calls, and smart features
The watches run on Zepp OS, and the manufacturer has also put work into the smart features. Bluetooth calls are a given, along with voice control Zepp Flow, replies to WhatsApp messages on Android smartphones, and app notifications. Inside the watch sits the HS3s processor, promising better performance compared to the previous model, HS3.
Amazfit also caters to athletes who train in the evening or at night. The watches include built-in LED lighting with white and red light, including an SOS mode. There’s also support for managing sports gear, so you can track the lifetime of your running shoes or cycling accessories.

Price and availability
Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra are already available globally, including the European market. The official price has been set at €599. The package includes two straps – a silicone one and a nylon sports strap. However, the manufacturer does not include a charging cable for environmental reasons.
The new model looks like a particularly interesting alternative to more expensive sports watches from Garmin or Suunto. Amazfit has this time significantly upgraded build quality, software capabilities, and sports features. For trail runners and endurance athletes, it could be one of the most interesting devices in this manufacturer’s lineup.
