This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

How to choose the sizes for the Amazfit Helio Ring?

1. Cut yourself a strip of paper long enough so it fits around your index finger.
2. Wrap the paper around your finger so it sits naturally, not too tight. Aim for a comfortable yet snug fit.
3. Use a pen to mark the point where the paper overlaps.
4. Straighten the paper strip and measure the length from the tip to the pencil mark. This is your ring size.

Amazfit Helio Ring: Titanium and Zepp app features

Smart rings are quite a popular item, especially for users who don’t like wearing smartwatches all day. At the moment, the third generation of the Oura Ring is already on the market, with its main competition coming from the Ultrahuman ring.

At CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA, however, we also got a new product from the Chinese company Amazfit. The brand even beat South Korea’s Samsung, whose Galaxy Ring was part of multiple leaks online. So we can welcome the model with the official name Amazfit Helio Ring.

Water resistance 10 ATM and detailed activity monitoring

Helio Ring, announced just a few days ago in Las Vegas, is made from lightweight titanium. The material also has a surface finish that’s friendly to human skin. The ring body is 2,6 mm thick and weighs just 4 grams.

Thanks to built-in sensors, the ring can monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO2), as well as stress and sleep quality. Amazfit says the ring will use this data to analyze your performance, while you can track your scores in these areas in the Zepp app.

The manufacturer notes right away that users can wear the ring together with almost all Amazfit smartwatches, even from the first-generation Amazfit GTS and GTR.

The Zepp app can pull data from both devices at the same time, giving you a more comprehensive overview of your activities. However, if you don’t own an Amazfit smartwatch, you can still use the ring on its own.

Among other things, the ring will offer water resistance of 10 ATM and monitoring for running, walking, cycling, and treadmill running.

Focused on recovery and sleep

From Amazfit’s promotional materials, it’s clear that the Helio Ring is primarily aimed at helping your body recover after demanding workouts that you might log, for example, with your Amazfit Balance watch. The app, the data, and the overall ring settings are designed to provide the best possible feedback on your sleep and recovery.

In the app, you’ll find features for in-depth sleep monitoring, analysis of your mental and physical readiness for training, and tracking RHR and HRV during sleep.

Amazfit Helio Ring helps you get even more in a better mental state. It monitors physical indicators of emotional states using an electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor, and combines it with heart rate variability (HRV) to detect changes in your daily and weekly emotional patterns. In the Zepp app, you can note whether the detected emotion matches exactly how you feel.

As for the battery capacity, it’s different for each ring size – size 8 has 16.5 mAh, size 10 got 18.5 mAh, and the largest size 12 has the biggest capacity of 20.5 mAh.

Charging is wireless using the included charging dock and takes about 1 h 40 min. The manufacturer states 4-day battery life on a single charge during “typical” use.
