A fairly successful period is also being experienced by Amazfit beyond the borders of China. The latest smartwatch models like Amazfit GTR and GTS have been very popular also among our readers.

Now the manufacturer is preparing a new product called Amazfit T-Rex. The new watch should be released as early as January 1, 2020; its main goal is to present it at the upcoming CES 2020 trade show.

They will be properly rugged

Huan Wang, CEO of Huami, the company behind the production of Amazfit watches, says we can look forward to a completely new product with a completely different idea compared to the standard Amazfit model lineup. Proof of this can also be the new promotional poster, which teases the arrival of new smartwatches.

From the available information, we know it will be a robust watch designed to withstand even rough handling in more extreme conditions. Rain, mud, off-road terrain, or a demanding mountain hike—these are exactly the situations the new watch should thrive in. The hefty body of the watch, based on the first photos, may resemble the well-known Casio G-Shock.

The T-Rex watch should be designed directly for the European market, which is definitely great news. The package will also include Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, 390 mAh battery technology, along with increased durability at the 5ATM level. Physical activity monitoring, just like in other models, won’t be missing either.

CES 2020 is getting closer unstoppable, and we’re already looking forward to the new Amazfit T-Rex watch and other products from this manufacturer. If you don’t want to miss any more info, follow the Xiaomi Planet portal and learn more.
