People building a gaming PC today are most surprised by the RAM prices, which have increased multiple times over the last year. CPUs have been spared this wave so far, so AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, one of the most popular gaming processors from recent years, is even cheaper today than it was a year ago. From a European warehouse on DHgate, you can buy it with our coupon for 247 €, while Alza charges 366,90 € for the same model.
We checked whether it’s the same chip, why the price difference is so big, and what buyers from Slovakia are writing about the offer. In the reviews, we also found something you should know before ordering.
Gaming processor from Spain within a week, without customs duty and VAT
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is sold on DHgate by the mi_fans_store shop, which we’ve been recommending in our articles for years, mainly for Xiaomi phones. It has 99,7 % positive ratings from over 19 000 orders, and the processor ships from its warehouse in Spain, where it currently has over 240 units.
Shipping to Slovakia via GLS is free; the seller states delivery within 7 days, and since the goods ship from an EU country, you don’t pay customs duty or VAT. The same tray version is also sold by Slovak shops, but the cheapest offer on Heureke is more expensive than the price in the box below.

The same chip as on Alza, just without the box
In both cases, it’s the same eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D chip labeled 100-000000910. Alza sells the boxed version (BOX, code 100-100000910WOF) with a 36-month warranty, while DHgate sends a tray unit packed only in a plastic bag. You won’t get a cooler in either case because AMD doesn’t include one with this model, neither in the box nor with the tray.
In the product description, the seller warns that the processor may have small handling marks on its surface and that it may come from China or Malaysia, depending on what arrives. A bigger difference is the warranty, because for the DHgate tray unit neither AMD nor the Slovak shop handles it, and the seller processes the claim via the DHgate system. So on Alza you pay 119 € extra mainly for the box and a more convenient warranty claim in Slovakia.
RAM prices have increased sixfold; processors haven’t
On Heureke we pulled up the price history of the processor as well as the popular memory kit Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 32 GB 6000 MHz. Back in September 2025, the memory was around 109 €, in January 2026 it was already 578 €, and today the lowest offer is 665 €, which is roughly six times as much. The boxed Ryzen 7 7800X3D meanwhile dropped from 441 € in April 2025 to 307 € by the end of August 2026.
But processors don’t stay put either, because the boxed version on Heureke has become more expensive over the last two months—from 307 € to 343 €. According to TrendForce, Intel raised the prices of Arrow Lake processors by 1. September by 5 to 10 % and Panther Lake by up to 20 %, Qualcomm since October by 10 %. According to the same source, AMD wants to adjust prices of some processors, but the scope and timing haven’t been confirmed yet, so the current price might not last long.
When building a new PC today, 32 GB of RAM costs more than the processor itself—and the mentioned Kingston kit even costs more than two processors from DHgate. That’s why the deal is mainly worth it for someone who already has the AM5 platform with DDR5 memory and a weaker processor, for example Ryzen 5 7600. You only need to swap the chip; you’ll pay only for the processor, and you don’t have to buy new RAM.
What are buyers from Slovakia saying?
The offer has 446 sold units on DHgate and 399 ratings with an average of 5,0. But when we went through them one by one, 375 of them are automatic five-star ratings that the system assigns when the customer doesn’t write a review in time. There are 20 ratings from Slovakia; however, only four include text and nobody added photos, so this time we won’t show you the customer gallery.
Three Slovak buyers are satisfied and wrote short “Super”, “ok”, and “Very Satisfied”. The fourth one gave four stars, saying the processor works great, but the seller shipped it only after four days and delivery took another 10 days instead of the promised seven. The dispute about a partial money refund was rejected by the seller. One Slovak customer has seven automatic ratings for this offer from April to October 2026, so they ordered the processor at least seven times.
More text reviews are from Germans, who make up the majority of buyers. One verified the serial number on AMD’s website, where it came up as a tray processor, and in the 3DMark Time Spy they scored around 13 000 points. Another package arrived in three days. Two ratings have only one star because one customer received a different product and the other, as they said themselves, got a used unit—yet neither of them received a refund.
Why is 7800X3D still a gaming tip
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D came out in April 2023 for $449 and stayed popular thanks to the 3D V-Cache technology. On the chip there’s an extra stacked cache, so the L3 cache totals 96 MB, and games that often pull from data benefit from it more than from higher clock speeds. Eight Zen 4 cores with 16 threads run at 4.2 GHz, with a boost up to 5 GHz.
For gaming, it’s enough with TDP 120 W, so it can be handled even by a regular tower cooler for a few dozen euros. The newer Ryzen 7 9800X3D is faster in games by about a tenth, but on Heureka it costs from 431 €, which is roughly 180 € more than the 7800X3D from DHgate. Socket AM5 supports DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0, and it also fits the newer Ryzen 9000 generation, so later you can just swap the processor.
