Design and dimensions
In terms of design, the Deerma F628S humidifier is an interesting piece. The design doesn’t shout, but it also doesn’t disappear. The device is white, made from HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene Sheet).
Its dimensions are 18.7 x 20 x 29.5 cm, so it won’t take up much space. It weighs only 1.75 kg, meaning weight won’t be a problem if you carry it.
Tank volume 5 liters
The Deerma F628S has a tank with a capacity of up to 5 l. Thanks to the transparent water tank, you can monitor the amount of water.
If you run out, there’s no need to worry, because it’s equipped with protection against low water. It can work for up to 12 hours. Water consumption for steam production is 300 ml/h.
Steam generation has up to 3 levels, which you can set according to your needs. Steam is produced by high-frequency oscillation based on UV waves, creating “micro mist,” whose particles are sized 1 – 5 micro meters.
Works also as an aroma diffuser
The Deerma F628S can continuously humidify for up to 12 hours. Its operating time is 8 hours. It takes a 2-hour break.
Despite that, the Deerma F628S isn’t just a humidifier. It can also handle the function of a aroma diffuser after you top up the aromatic solution.
But that’s not all. It can also take on the role of a air purifier. For that, it has a filter containing silver and copper ions.
It needs to be installed into the humidifier, and then the steam is filtered through it, entering the air in its clean form.
Quiet operation and display
The Deerma F628S is truly a quiet device. Its sound does not exceed 30 dB. It won’t disturb you—even during sleep.
It also has a display at the bottom of the front side. Around the display there are 4 touch buttons. One for on/off, a timer, UV cleaning, and maintaining constant humidity.
By holding the timer button for 3 seconds, the display will turn off and won’t disturb you.
The screen shows the current temperature and humidity in the room.
UV cleaning, constant humidity, and deep cleaning
The Deerma F628S features UV cleaning of the steamed water. Thanks to this, there’s no chemical contamination, and only clean steam enters the room.
This handy humidifier can, compared to others, maintain constant humidity in the room. Comfortable humidity for humans is 45% – 50%, which the Deerma F628S maintains so you feel pleasant and comfortable.
It also includes integrated deep cleaning. Inside the purifier there’s an integrated one-way path with UV light through which the water penetrates.
The water is purified in the tank with UV light and then moves into the atomization stage and out into the air.
