Shock from China: Dreame, the vacuum cleaner maker, is preparing an extremely powerful electric supercar with more than 1000 horsepower

28. December 2025 4 min read 0 comments

You mainly know the Dreame brand for robot and stick vacuum cleaners, but now it surprised everyone in a completely different direction. Their new division, Dreame Auto, has shared footage of its first car under the Starry Sky Plan project and, according to available reports, it will be a Dreame electric supercar that should be officially unveiled at the CES 2026 trade show in January. The first production vehicle from this brand should reach stores in 2027.

What do we know so far about the Starry Sky Plan project?

Dreame Auto has confirmed that the premiere will take place at CES 2026, i.e., at one of the biggest tech events of the year. At the same time, it was earlier said that the first production vehicle should hit the market in 2027, so for now we’re still in the “tasting” phase—building up anticipation.

It’s also important that the brand isn’t aiming for just one model. Behind the scenes, a broader auto strategy is mentioned, where Dreame allegedly plans to cover two EV lines: extremely high-performance cars and—at the same time—large, luxury electric SUVs. The CES debut should show just how serious they are about it.

Design: low stance, wide track, and lots of aerodynamics

From the teaser images so far, it’s clear this won’t be a “normal” sports coupe. The car looks like a proper supercar: long and low proportions, bold front and rear fenders, and a wide stance that typically signals a focus on stability at high speeds.

The front features a distinctive light signature with four horizontal daytime running-light segments. The bumper is complemented by large air intakes and side aero elements that look functional, not just there “for show.” Overall, it looks like Dreame has been planning for high performance and the need for effective cooling from the start.

Side profile and brakes: details that hint at the ambitions

From the side, the hidden A-pillar stands out, making the windshield visually “flow” into the roof. You’ll also find pronounced side elements reminiscent of wing endplates, plus wheel discs with a six-petal design and mounting secured with six bolts.

Speculation has also mentioned carbon ceramic brakes. So far, this hasn’t been officially confirmed directly by Dreame, but for a car that aims to push the boundary of top-end specs, it would make sense. These brakes are used mainly where you have extreme acceleration, high power-to-weight, and repeated hard braking.

Rear end: a big wing and a massive diffuser

At the back, a fixed wing dominates, with pronounced side end sections pointing downward. The rear lights are designed as a strip across the entire width of the car, and inside they feature a 3D dot-structure, giving it a modern, premium look.

Under the bumper, there’s a large two-layer diffuser. Its job should be to improve the “ground effect” and increase downforce on the rear axle. Even if it’s only a teaser for now, the design suggests aerodynamics will be one of the main topics.

Technical rumors: more than 1000 horsepower and 0–100 at 1,8 with

Official specifications are still missing. Dreame Auto hasn’t released details about the motor configuration, battery, range, or manufacturing specifics. However, in the media, expectations have appeared that the car could have over 1000 horsepower and 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 1.8 s.

Another interesting detail is the alleged cooling of the electric drivetrain using a cooling medium, where the system should be kept at around 15 °C. Again, these are expectations and not confirmed figures—but if Dreame wants to compete in the supercar league, thermal stability at high performance will be absolutely key.

If at least some of the rumored specs are confirmed, it could be one of the most exciting “tech” entries into the world of cars in recent years. After all, Dream comes from a segment focused on mechatronics—motion control, sensors, optimization, and efficiency—i.e., exactly the areas that are extremely important in modern electric vehicles.
