An umbrella that proves the exceptional quality of Xiaomi products
Each of us has different needs, so we surround ourselves with different things. The same applies to how we evaluate parameters when choosing even a seemingly ordinary item like an umbrella. The retractable Xiaomi WD1 umbrella is so versatile that it will satisfy even the most demanding customer.
First of all, we should mention the construction, which is made from high-quality fiberglass fibres combined with elements of a lightweight aluminium alloy. The materials used and the specially designed construction divided into eight ribs create a sufficiently strong unit also resistant to strong wind.
The fabric used is made from a special water-repellent fabric, so it doesn’t hold water. After use, that’s why the Xiaomi WD1 isn’t soaked like a typical umbrella, so you can store it in your bag without worries.
No soaking even if the material is exposed to heavy rain for a longer time. The fabric also provides adequate protection from UV sun radiation, so Xiaomi WD1 is suitable for protection from the sun as well.
A big protector in a compact size
After firing, the umbrella has great dimensions. The canopy diameter is 102 cm and the umbrella height is 62 cm. Two adults can comfortably hide under the Xiaomi WD1 umbrella. On the other hand, after use, the three-part construction folds down to 31.5 x 5.8 cm. The weight is a pleasant 400 g.
A special trigger-firing mechanism ensures opening the umbrella in just one second. The individual steps of the opening process were designed to minimize the possibility of people around you getting hit or injured.
