On December 28, 2020, the Chinese giant Xiaomi officially presented the much-anticipated flagship smartphone to the world under the name Xiaomi Mi 11. So far, the device has only been prepared for the domestic Chinese market, but the latest leaks bring us information about the global version.
Xiaomi has already been teasing a global launch with a published poster. Among the hot updates is the FCC certification for the Mi 11 smartphone, which reveals some specifications.
3 memory configurations
The Chinese version of the smartphone launched in three memory configurations. Specifically, we’re talking about the 8 + 128 GB, 8 + 256 GB and finally the 12 + 256 GB versions. The FCC certification also mentions three variants, but with slightly altered configurations.
As you can see in the screenshots above, it seems we’ll get at least three variants on the global market. These are the 6 + 128 GB, 8 + 128 GB and 8 + 256 GB versions, while the version with 12 GB RAM hasn’t been mentioned yet.
The smartphone will feature LPDDR5 RAM, which, however, was enhanced a bit even by the manufacturer itself. Fast 55 W wired charging has also been confirmed, along with the overlay in the MIUI 12 version, likely in the 12.5 version.
The smartphone’s launch could take place at around this year’s March. In a recent article, we also wrote about a report that was related to the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite smartphone together with the more advanced flagship sibling.
