The launch of the global models from the Xiaomi 13 series is apparently really close. That’s also suggested by the fact that the models have gone through various certifications, so in theory they’re already fully ready.
Latest certifications
The Xiaomi 13 series was unveiled on the Chinese market on December 11, and since then we’ve been waiting for when the Chinese giant will announce the global models. The series includes two models — Xiaomi 13 Pro and the base Xiaomi 13, which we at the editorial team have already had a chance to test.
The global smartphone models are labeled 2211133G and 221032G, which is revealed by the final letter “G”. Both units appeared in the NBTC and EEC certification databases.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro model also received BIS certification, which stands for Bureau of Indian Standard. The interesting part is that the model code ends with G and not I, so it’s a model intended for the global market.
So, to sum it up: the base Xiaomi 13 model with model number 2211133G has NBTC certification. Xiaomi 13 Pro with model number 221032G earned NBTC, BIS and EEC certifications.
We already know all the specs
Since the smartphones are already listed on the domestic Chinese market, we know all their specifications. The standard Xiaomi 13 will come with sharper edges, a 6.36-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the latest processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The back houses a trio of cameras with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh along with 67W fast charging.
The Pro model has a larger 6.73-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and the same refresh rate. The more advanced sibling also has an equally powerful processor. Both models finally come with IP68 certification and the MIUI 14 software layer.
On the back you’ll find a 50-megapixel main camera, while the “ultrawide” and the telephoto lens also come with the same 50-megapixel resolution. The battery has a capacity of 4,820 mAh, supports 120W charging, and in both cases you can also find 50W wireless charging.
