Official photos of Xiaomi 15 Ultra in high resolution!

Xiaomi 15 Ultra will make sense for the very best smartphone that Xiaomi has built so far. It will be a device featuring a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 px, a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and the most advanced camera system built in collaboration with the renowned company Leica.

The phone will come with four lenses on the back. You can look forward to a 50 MPx LYT900 main sensor, a 200 MP S5KHP9 telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, a 50 MPx Sony IMX858 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 50 MPx S5KJN5 ultra-wide lens. So you’re getting a very comprehensive photography setup.

As part of the global launch, a special “Photography Kit Legend Edition” will also be available. It includes upgraded controls for controlling the photo app, enhancing your mobile photography experience and reminding you to capture a bit more like you would with a standard camera. There will also be a special design-inspired variant based on Leica cameras, combining the style with a retro look.

Battery life will be handled by a 6,000 mAh battery supporting 90 W fast wired and 50 W wireless charging, enabling quick top-ups even with intensive use. For pre-orders, a special bundle will be available that includes Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the new smartwatches Xiaomi Watch S4, and Photography Kit Legend Edition.

Xiaomi will finally also sell a 1 TB memory version. The previous “Ultra” variants offered a maximum of 512 GB storage, so we’re seeing an improvement here as well. The Xiaomi 15 Pro model most likely won’t be available with us, and as has been the norm for several years now, it’s going to be a device made exclusively for the Chinese market.

Xiaomi 15 will offer a slightly smaller battery on the global market

Xiaomi 15 will appeal to you with a slightly more compact, 6.36-inch TCL M9 OLED LTPO display, with a resolution of 2670 × 1200 px, supporting a variable refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz and featuring a maximum peak brightness of 3200 nits. The display is protected by a durable Xiaomi Ceramic Glass 2.0 cover glass, which offers improved durability against both scratches and impact-related breakage.

The camera system is powered by the best chipset for Android smartphones today, Snapdragon 8 Elite. Together with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the phone will deliver smooth multitasking and high performance.

The camera system consists of a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2.6x zoom and macro capabilities. The lenses are equipped with LEICA SUMMILUX optics, ensuring professional-quality photos.

What’s interesting is that the global version of the smartphone will have a slightly reduced battery capacity of 5240 mAh compared to 5400 mAh in the Chinese version. Fast charging is still preserved: 90 W wired, or 50 W wireless charging. The design will be dust and water resistant according to IP68 certification. You also get an ultrasonic fingerprint reader built directly under the display.

Xiaomi Watch S4 will be premium watches for the European market

Xiaomi Watch S4 are expected to launch on the global market alongside the Xiaomi 15 lineup, on March 2, 2025. The watches will feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with brightness of 2200 nits, enabling excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. The watch case is made from aluminum alloy with a stainless-steel base, giving them a premium look and high durability.

The watches will support mobile networks GSM, HSPA and LTE, thanks to eSIM support (depending on the region), and they will be water-resistant up to 5 ATM, so you can use them even while swimming. In terms of monitoring body metrics and tracking sports activity, they will offer a wide range of sensors, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, barometer, a heart-rate monitor, and a SpO2 sensor.

Their 486 mAh battery is said to provide very good battery life, which you’ll of course need to test in practice. The watches will come with the HyperOS 2 operating system, so they’ll fit nicely into your Xiaomi ecosystem. Xiaomi Watch S4 will be available in black and silver color options.
