Among several Xiaomi electric scooters, a brand-new electric bike—Xiaomi Himo C20—has recently been added. It impresses with its specs, a ride range of up to 80 km, and a reasonable price. Now it’s also going on sale for us in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Himo C20 is a folding set with a ride range of 80 km
HIMO C20 is a folding set. On steroids. The bike is built around a robust aluminum frame, with dimensions of 1470 mm x 610 mm x 1060 mm and a weight of 21.1 kg. You already know it’s not a classic folding bike.
Even the battery alone with a capacity of 10 Ah weighs 2.5 kg. It’s made up of several 18650-type cells and, in Eco mode (when you pedal), it provides a range of up to 80 km! In pure electric mode, the bike goes about 50 km on a single charge—still a very solid range.
The battery is neatly tucked inside the bike frame and is removable. When charging, you need to take the battery out, and charging takes up to 6 hours.
Battery status, as well as the current speed and the selected mode, are shown on the handlebar display. By the way, the handlebars are foldable—just like the only part of this folding set.
Maximum speed 25 km/h and multiple modes
The HIMO C20 bike is powered by a DC electric motor with 250 W power. In normal mode, it reaches a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The bike can work in several modes: a standard mode with the motor inactive, a mode with motor assist, and a fully electric mode.
Mode selection is done on the aforementioned handlebar display, which is also splash-resistant thanks to IPX5 certification.
You also get energy recuperation from a pair of mechanical brakes. They’re effective and at a speed of 25 km/h can stop the bike in 4 meters. On wet surfaces, it’s 6 meters.
Shimano derailleur and an awesome hidden feature
The HIMO C20 electric bicycle comes with a 6-speed derailleur from the well-known brand Shimano. With multiple gears, you can adapt your ride to the terrain or the road incline. The bike is built on 20-inch wheels.
The maximum seatpost height is 965 mm. That’s where the great hidden feature is tucked away. After pulling it out, the seatpost also serves as a pump! The seat itself is made from vacuum foam pads, making your ride much more comfortable.
The HIMO C20 bike’s features are rounded out by foldable pedals, a front LED light, a rear red warning light, and aluminum brake levers.
