Xiaomi Outdoor Power Supply 1000 Pro is a new outdoor power station from Xiaomi. It aims to compete with similar portable products from brands like Anker.
Capacity for the whole family
At its core, it uses a lithium battery with a combined liquid-and-solid electrolyte technology, which has undergone special safety testing. The battery inside is also protected with a certified IP67, making it ideal, for example, for use at the beach. It weighs only 16.9 kg and can be charged up to a thousand times.
The charging station has a built-in high-capacity battery rated at 2800 00mAh/ 1022 Wh with a power output of up to 220 V / 1800 W, allowing it to power most outdoor and standard electrical devices.
According to official Mijia Outdoor Power Supply 1000 Pro data, it can charge, for example, a drone (28 Wh) about 32 times, a laptop (70 Wh) about 13 times, a camera (15 Wh) about 61 times, outdoor lighting (10 W) for up to 92 hours, and a portable fridge (60W) for up to 15 hours. So you can use it, for instance, on trips—especially for people who want to use their devices even in demanding conditions.
A rich and fast MIJIA 1000 Pro interface
The station uses bidirectional fast charging technology, which in practice allows charging 80% of the capacity in 50 minutes and fully charging it in 90 minutes.
As for the interface, this power station can handle connecting up to 13 devices at once, and it uses a bidirectional sine-wave inverter compatible with devices typically plugged into a standard home power outlet—so it can even serve as a temporary backup power source. On the front, you’ll find an information display as well as these ports:
- 2x USB-A up to 22.5W
- 2x USB-A up to 12W
- 2x USB-C up to 100W
- 1 10A car outlet
- 2 DC outlets
On the back of the power station, you’ll also find:
- 4 outlets up to 1800W
- 1 AC input
- 1 DC input
Charge anywhere with a solar panel
The Xiaomi MIJIA Outdoor Power Supply 1000 Pro also works great with the portable solar panel MIJIA Solar Panel 100W, which you can purchase separately. This power station can be charged at the same time from two such panels, with a maximum output of up to 200W.
During times of high energy prices, this combination can serve as a temporary replacement or help reduce electricity consumption from the grid.
The Xiaomi Mijia Outdoor Power Supply 1000 Pro power station is currently available for sale only on the domestic Chinese market, where its price is set at 6499 yuan. Converted, that comes to €933.
For comparison, the Anker competition with a 1500 W output and a 1229 Wh capacity sells for just under €1400. It’s not yet known whether the product will reach the global market, but availability could be handled by well-known international retailers.
