Xiaomi finally brings its first air conditioner to Europe, built for the global market. Under the Mijia brand, two models debut at once — Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 2.6 kW and the more powerful Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 3.5 kW.

Global debut with top-tier efficiency
The main attraction of the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco units is their energy efficiency A+++ for cooling and heating in warm EU climate zones. In mild areas, they reach A++ efficiency.
That makes them a great choice if you want to lower your electricity bills without compromising comfort. The air conditioners come with a modern DC inverter system, ensuring smooth power regulation and a longer service life.
The models handle rapid cooling in as little as 30 seconds and warming up the room in 60 seconds, running extremely quietly — just 53/55 dB(A) indoors and 59/61 dB(A) outdoors. Air distribution is handled by a 108 mm diameter fan, delivering airflow up to 650 m³/h.

Smart control and artificial intelligence
Both air conditioners are fully integrated with the Xiaomi Home AIoT ecosystem. You can control them via the mobile app, create automations with smart sensors and other devices, or use voice commands through Google Assistant. You’ll also find the Mijia AI Energy Saving feature, which uses cloud AI to optimize energy consumption by up to 26%.
A given is clear energy consumption tracking in the app, weather- and room-based adaptation, personalization to your habits, and automatic room-size detection for maximum efficiency.

Maximum comfort, even at night
For night mode, the air conditioners include intelligent noise reduction, brightness control, and airflow adjustment. Thanks to ambient light sensors, the display automatically dims. There’s also a dedicated sleep mode, where you can set the temperature, fan speed, and other parameters to your liking.
The unit also features intelligent pre-heating, which activates before the heating starts to prevent cold air drafts, along with smart condensate protection that adjusts humidity based on current conditions.
High build quality and antibacterial filters
Mijia air conditioners have a modern, rounded design, are easy to operate, and make maintenance simple. They include an antibacterial filter with easy access that keeps the room air clean and healthy. The device also offers a high-temperature self-cleaning function that sterilizes the indoor parts of the air conditioner at 56 °C without any user intervention.
The device supports modes such as drying (dry mode), maintaining the temperature at 8°C (anti-freeze mode), a timer, memory after a power outage, and a turbo function for an instant start at full power.
Price and availability for Europe
Although availability in the wider European market hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, Xiaomi Mijia air conditioners are already being sold in Spain. The official recommended price for the 2.6 kW model is €599, and for the more powerful 3.5 kW model you’ll pay €699. Prices include both the outdoor and indoor unit.
If you’d like to buy the indoor unit only, for example for another room, the price for the 3.5 kW model is €349, while the weaker 2.5 kW model costs €299.
You also need to add an installation fee of approximately €300, which covers installation and commissioning by a professional company.
Since these are Xiaomi’s first air conditioners aimed at the global market, we expect they’ll soon show up in Slovak and Czech e-shops as well. We’ll keep you posted about their availability.
