Xiaomi has published a pretty long list of features it will add to MIUI

There’s no doubt that MIUI is one of the most developed Android skins. Xiaomi’s development team is constantly working on improvements and new features. Those are exactly what will await us in the following system updates.

A whole bunch of new features for owners of Xiaomi smartphones

After all, Xiaomi also listens to its fans, who constantly suggest new features. Based on this initiative, new things keep coming in. However, the latest feature list is really quite long. All of this is what awaits us in the next MIUI 10 and MIUI 11 versions.

List of some of the features they’re currently working on or have already implemented:

• The ability to display the lock screen when using Face Unlock, instead of directly unlocking the device and moving to the home screen

• Improved Dolby sound effects
• The face sensor and the fingerprint sensor will work simultaneously
• Optimized power-saving mode
• Wake up the screen using voice commands
• Optimized one-click memory cleanup
• Support for private albums for videos
• Global night mode
• Support for text in photo editing
• Redesign of the App Store user interface (only the Chinese MIUI version)

• Automatic removal of the .apk installation package after app installation
• Reducing false clicks from unwanted screen touches
• Local trash for photo albums
• Support for cropping images to an aspect ratio of 18: 9
• Optimized app permission management
• Optimized voice control for the camera shutter
• Support for Mi Pay and fast JD payments (for China)
• Kids mode
• Stereo Bluetooth audio while gaming
• Control of internet speed and traffic
• Display emergency contact information on the lock screen
