More updates on Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro: Full design revealed, new color, and a quality portrait sensor

Xiaomi CC9 Pro – the new smartphone from our favorite brand will be officially unveiled at the press conference on November 5. / October. Most other brands try to keep as many details as possible under wraps before the official launch of a new device and prevent information leaks.

But Xiaomi is different, and brand representatives themselves share a lot of details even before the press conference, which is just a kind of culmination of several days of unveiling the new product.

A new video reveals the entire design

Today, Xiaomi shared another promo video showing not only the capabilities of its 108 MPx sensor, but also revealing the full design of the upcoming smartphone. The video stars 18-year-old Chinese actress Zhang Zifeng as the new face of the Xiaomi CC9 Pro brand.

Zifeng demonstrates the impressive capabilities of the new phone, especially its 108 MPx sensor, which can capture a huge amount of detail. Even after subsequent multi-level zooming into any of the details, the image keeps sharp contours. Video for the first time shows the entire front of the phone.

Every so often, new promo posters are also released, serving us little by little with parts of the look or equipment of a new smartphone. In one of the latest ones, Xiaomi has revealed another colorful version of the Xiaomi CC9 Pro—pearl white. The green version is called Magic Green.

The Xiaomi CC9 Pro is expected to feature a beautiful 6.47-inch OLED display with a teardrop notch, just like other phones in the CC series. Another promo poster, however, also shows its neat curved design on both sides, as well as the chamfered edges of the frame at the bottom.

These design elements are really impressive. The picture above also confirms another piece of equipment: the 3.5 mm headphone connector.

Xiaomi CC9 Pro specs that we already know

We’ve already mentioned the 6.47-inch OLED display, which offers an HD+ 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It will integrate an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone’s chipset hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the expected set is the Snapdragon 730G.

The manufacturer also offers versions with 6 and 8 GB of RAM, and the most expensive version should come with up to 256 GB storage. The phone is said to have no memory card slot. The pre-installed OS will be Android 9 Pie with the latest MIUI 11 overlay.

The Xiaomi CC series is primarily focused on photography, and the five sensors in the CC9 Pro will be its pride. The penta camera will be made up as follows:

• The first lens will be the so-called periscope sensor, which supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom.
• The second lens is a 50 mm portrait lens with a resolution of 12 MPx and a large pixel size of 1.4 microns. It supports dual PD autofocus and has an aperture of f / 2.0. With these parameters, the sensor can blur the background impressively.
  
• The third camera is a 108-megapixel sensor made in collaboration with Samsung. It’s a 1/1.33-inch sensor with an aperture value of f / 1.7.
• The fourth one is an ultra-wide sensor with a resolution of 20 MPx and a field of view of 117 degrees.
• The last one is the super macro lens with a focal length of 1.5 cm.

The penta-camera system is complemented by a pair of dual LED flashes, and the front camera will feature a 32 MP sensor. The new model also includes an above-average battery with a capacity of up to 5170 mAh, and fast charging is also expected at an as-yet unspecified power. TENAA certification from the telecommunications authority confirmed the weight 208 grams and dimensions 157.8 x 74.2 x 9.67 mm.

As a reminder, the global equivalent of the Xiaomi CC9 Pro is expected to be the Xiaomi Mi Note 10, which should come with the same design, specs, and features.
