Xiaomi is causing a huge stir with this year’s Redmi Note smartphone lineup. After a few years, it introduced worthy successors to the legendary Redmi Note 3 Pro, which was incredibly popular at the time.
The newly unveiled Redmi Note 7 Pro is on track to become just as popular. In its price segment, it offers a solid chunk of performance.
The first performance tests show strong power
Redmi Note 7 Pro has already landed in the hands of testers from the Indian portal Fonearena.com, who have brought us the first benchmark results. The smartphone shows solid power. Its newer Snapdragon 675 processor with 8 x Kryo 460 cores delivers enough performance for everyday tasks, and it can also handle more demanding games.
Compared to the Snapdragon 636 in the Redmi Note 5 and Note 6 Pro, the new model is up to 55% more powerful. What’s more, in performance tests the Redmi Note 7 Pro even beats the more expensive Mi 8 Lite with the Snapdragon 660. Given its price of up to €200 / 5200 CZK (on the Indian market), it’s very likely that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will become the brand’s new hit.
