We recently informed you about a compact and clever phone from Xiaomi. It was the QIN 2 model. Today, it’s time to present its upgraded brother, the Xiaomi QIN 2 Pro.
Great price
You can order the QIN 2 Pro from one of the largest Chinese sellers – Banggood. The phone is in stock and shipping takes place within 24 hours after you pay for the order.
In your order, make sure to choose EU Priority Line delivery, where the seller will handle customs duty (clo) and VAT for you. Since it’s the global version, the smartphone includes all worldwide languages, including Slovak and Czech.
Video review:
QIN 2 Pro has better hardware
The main difference between QIN 2 and the Pro version is the hardware used. QIN 2 Pro features a more powerful UNISOC SC8A 9863-core processor with Cortex-A55 cores and a maximum clock speed of 1,6 GHz. The standard model has a slightly weaker 4-core SC9832E processor.
The change also happened in the memories. The Pro version includes 2 GB of RAM, and the internal storage is now up to 64 GB. Compared to 1 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, that’s a twofold increase.
Small but skilled
In terms of other specs, the QIN 2 Pro doesn’t differ. It comes with a 5.05“ Full Screen display with a resolution of 1440 x 576 pixels. Thanks to that, it fits nicely in your hand and is easy to control without any issues.
A WiFi connection with the option to create a WiFi hotspot takes care of connecting to the world and chatting with friends. In Slovakia, however, it doesn’t support full-range connection to the 4G network because it works on B1//B3/B5/B7/B8 bands. Band B20 is unfortunately missing in this case. So you can connect to LTE internet only in cities—outside cities, the 3G connection will work.
Data transfer is handled by Bluetooth 4.2, and just like with its less powerful sibling, it also has IR control, e.g. for a TV, air conditioner, and more.
The operating system in the global version is Android GO, based on the popular Android 9 Pie. Android GO is designed for less demanding devices, which ensures a fast and worry-free system without cutting anything from the user experience.
To capture unforgettable moments, the rear 5 MPx camera with Auto focus and white balance adjustment will help.
The smartphone is powered by a battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh. In standby mode, this battery can keep it running for up to 10 days. Just like the QIN 2 model, it charges via USB type C.
The QIN 2 Pro isn’t here to impress with its performance among flagship models, but to offer performance and compactness especially for kids and seniors—which it does very well.
