How to measure your foot and choose the right size?

When ordering online, it’s worth spending a moment on accurate measuring. Follow the instructions below and you’ll avoid the unpleasant surprise that the shoes don’t fit.

The simplest method is to use clean paper and a pen. Place the paper on a flat floor and stand on it barefoot. While you’re standing upright with your weight distributed on both feet, ask someone to mark the point by your longest toe and the point at your heel. Then measure the distance between those two points with a ruler—that’s your exact foot length.

For measuring, we recommend repeating the process on both feet, since your right and left foot may be slightly different in length. For the best fit, choose the value of the longer foot. Add approximately 0,5 – 1 cm to the measured value as a buffer, so there’s enough space even during longer hikes or when wearing thicker socks.

Then, according to the size chart, find your corresponding EU size. For example, if your foot length is 271 mm, the suitable EU size is EU 42. If you have a wider foot or longer toes, it’s worth choosing one size up. On the other hand, for narrow feet or a lower instep, you may be able to choose one size smaller.
