Premium design and high performance
Redmi Book Pro 16 2025 is a thin and lightweight notebook with an elegant metal body in silver, reminiscent of the MacBook Pro. The premium look is complemented by a black keyboard and minimalist straight edges.
The notebook weighs 1,88 kg and is just 15,9 mm thick. Charging is done via USB-C with up to 140 W, meaning you can quickly top up the battery.
The top version is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, which includes 6 performance cores with a boost up to 5.1 GHz and ten efficiency cores. The Intel Arc 140T iGPU can handle less demanding games without any issues. The L3 cache is 24 MB.
There will also be a more affordable version with the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor, which totals 14 cores, with the more powerful ones running at up to 4,9 GHz.
Thanks to Intel Arrow Lake’s energy-efficient architecture and a 99 Wh battery, the new model should deliver solid battery life on a single charge, with the battery reaching the maximum capacity allowed for air shipping.
Xiaomi went with 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM with data transfer speeds up to 8400 MT/s, plus a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage. Cooling is handled by a powerful dual-fan system designed to maintain stable performance even during long-term heavy workloads.
A great display and an interesting price (unfortunately, only for China)
The 16-inch display uses an IPS panel with a 3.1K resolution (3072 × 1920 px), 165 Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness. There’s also 100% DCI-P3 coverage, which graphic designers and movie lovers will appreciate.
In China, the base Redmi Book Pro 16 2025 version with the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H, 32 GB RAM, and a 1 TB SSD sells for 6499 yuan (about €850). The variant with the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H costs 7499 yuan (around €985).
Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed yet when, at what price, or whether this model will even reach the European market.
