A flagship sensor in a cheaper smartphone

It should be a Sony IMX766 sensor. The good news is that such a high-quality sensor will appear in a cheaper smartphone. It’s still not fully clear which Redmi K50 phone this sensor will end up in.
We think it will be either the Redmi K50 Pro or the Pro+. There’s also the possibility that the Sony sensor will be used in both models, which would be the better scenario.
The Sony IMX766 sensor in the Xiaomi 12 smartphone offers a resolution of 50 MPx with a size of 1/1, 56”. It also won’t be missing optical image stabilization. Xiaomi 12 is praised for its photos, and it shouldn’t be any different in Redmi either.
