Redmi K50 Pro design revealed: Render created based on leaked photos of a protective case

10. January 2022 3 min read 0 comments

The introduction of the Redmi K50 series is getting closer. Clues include the fact that a protective case leaked that should belong to the Redmi K50 Pro model. Even a render was created based on it, and we can take a look at how this smartphone will probably look.

Another leaked protective cover

First, the protective case itself leaked—one that, according to information, should belong to the Redmi K50 Pro model. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, because not long ago we witnessed how protective cases leaked for the Xiaomi 12 series.

It seems the leaked case has fairly compact dimensions, and the display diagonal is estimated at around 6,28 inches. Something similar to what the Xiaomi 12 smartphone has.

We also have the first render of the Redmi K50 Pro smartphone

The leak came from the Xiaomiui portal, where the official device render for the Redmi K50 Pro was also posted. We can spot the difference on the back right away. The design of the rear module will be different from what Xiaomi’s sister company uses in its smartphones. This is good news: Redmi wants to distinguish itself from similar smartphones.

At the top of the module, there will be three lenses arranged in a triangular shape. Under that, there will be a rather large area where we’ll find an LED flash and the text AI CAMERA, along with information that the main camera will have a resolution of 64 MPx.

In the bottom-left corner of the back panel, we’ll find the company name and the 5G marking, which suggests that the processor used will support 5th generation networks. It’s rumored that the Pro model will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

On the case, you can see grilles in both the upper and lower parts, which means we should once again expect authentic stereo speakers—and on the bottom side, also a USB-C connector. We also don’t see any protrusion at the unlock button, which could mean that the fingerprint reader will be located directly in the AMOLED panel.

We also know that the trio of new devices will be unveiled already in February. Follow this website so you won’t miss any information.
