Redmi is planning a conference on 26 May, where it should introduce as many as two new smartphones. These should be the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 10 Pro + 5G models.
Redmi Note 10 series
That Redmi presents several new smartphones every year is also evidenced by the fact that the Redmi Note 10 smartphone series already includes several models. On Wednesday, 26 May, two more smartphones should join them.
They will be the top models in terms of hierarchy, for which they will be especially thanked for chipsets with 5G network support. The Redmi Note 10 5G is already on sale, and it also supports 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor.
Redmi itself released a poster in advance, inviting people to the presentation of the news. It also shows the rear camera module and a very interesting turquoise color variant.
Since the Redmi Note 10 Pro already exists, we can assume that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G models will have very similar specs. The smartphones should get a 108 MPx camera, a 5020 mAh battery, and a 6.67″ display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and, above all, a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Fast charging with a power of 33 W is not missing, plus NFC, 3,5 mm jack, or stereo speakers. What other differences there will be, we’ll have to wait until the actual presentation.
Launch coming soon
The presentation itself will take place on 26 May at 14:00 local Chinese time. Besides these mentioned smartphones, the arrival of other news items like headphones, power banks, or something completely different is also not out of the question. Xiaomi / Redmi likes to surprise with something new.
Both smartphones will be presented only for the domestic Chinese market, and we’re really curious whether we’ll see them on the global market too. Even if not, they will definitely be available from well-known international retailers.
