Xiaomi is gradually bringing more and more smartphones with 5G networks to the market. One of them will soon be the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which will get a 5G version as well. Even though the 5G coverage here doesn’t look very rosy, it’s a technology of the near future that will be supported by more and more smartphones from various manufacturers.

As we already informed you at the beginning of April, Xiaomi’s sub-brand has introduced the 5G version of its extremely popular model Redmi Note 10.

5G support with a Qualcomm processor

The standard Redmi Note 10 version with 5G support received a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The higher-end line in the form of the Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone, however, stays with Qualcomm and will come with a Snapdragon 750G processor. The information about the use of a Qualcomm processor was posted on Qualcomm Broad’s Twitter account for Latin America.

You can find Snapdragon 750G, for example, in the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. This processor has 8 cores with a maximum clock frequency of 2.2 GHz, allows the use of a display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and has the Adreno 619 graphics chip with 4K support.

The design will probably be very similar to the Redmi Note 10 Pro model that has been on sale for some time. No further details are known yet. However, based on various advertising banners that appear on the internet, it’s very likely that the Pro 5G version will be introduced immediately for the global market as well.

However, there was no official confirmation of the new Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G model.

A popular model from the Redmi brand

The Redmi Note line is very popular especially thanks to its great price/performance ratio. These are very affordable models that are ideal for less demanding users. The Pro version brings improvements every year over the classic model.

This year’s Note 10 Pro model came with an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a powerful, 5000 mAh battery. Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 732G processor, which will delight especially with a high-quality, up to 108 MPx camera. Since launch, it has been a highly sought-after model.
