Redmi Note 11S 5G: 6.6″ display and MediaTek Dimensity 810

The model Redmi Note 11S 5G expands the lineup of global smartphones from the eleventh series. The front is highlighted by a large, up to 6.6″ IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution and a cutout for the front camera. However, this display offers a DCI-P3 color gamut, as well as a fast 90 Hz refresh rate (AdaptiveSync) and up to 240 Hz sampling frequency.

Performance is handled by a new octa-core processor that we can place in the upper mid-range class. Specifically, it’s the MediaTek Dimensity 810 model (supports 5G, DualSIM), built on a 6 nm manufacturing process. It has a clock speed up to 2.4 GHz and is also paired with 4 / 6 GB RAM, 64 / 128 GB internal storage, and the Mali-G57 graphics chip.

The back is home to a fairly large camera module. But in terms of design, it matches the other models in the series. The main camera has a resolution of 50 MPx and is also complemented by an ultra-wide sensor with a field of view of up to 119°, as well as a 2 MPx macro sensor.

From the further equipment, we can mention dual stereo speakers or a 3.5 mm audio connector. There’s also a linear vibration motor “X-axis” for a high-quality response, for example when you get notifications. You’ll also get FM radio and an infrared sensor for controlling home electronics. And part of the package is increased dust and water resistance, even with IP 53 certification.

The smartphone can also boast a fairly large battery capacity. It comes in at up to 5000 mAh, while the Redmi brand promises two or more days on a single charge, depending on usage. And when you run the battery down, you’ll get support for fast 33 W charging, with which you can reach full capacity in less than an hour.
