Great news for all Redmi fans appeared on the official Weibo social media profile. The manufacturer confirmed the launch of the new Redmi Note 13 series in China, which should bring a fairly substantial amount of innovations compared to the “twelfth one”.
We can also see the design of the new series for the very first time right away across the entire detailed photo gallery that the Redmi brand has shared on its official Weibo profile. Besides the design of the smartphones, the poster reveals the official re-launch date set for September 21 at 13:00 our time.

One of the models in the upcoming series will also be Redmi Note 13 Pro+. That’s the device that has also leaked with a significant amount of key technical specifications. It should, in fact, be a model with the best camera across mid-range Android devices.
200 MPx main sensor and Dimensity 7200 Ultra
Yes, you read that right. Redmi Note 13 Pro+ as a mid-range contender will come with a main 200 MPx camera. According to leaked information, it looks like the sensor will be HP3 from Samsung. And beyond high resolution, it also promises very high-quality video. Especially thanks to its pixels, which are 20% smaller compared to the previous generation—meaning more information per shot.
In addition, the brand confirmed that the processor included will be the new MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra. This chip is manufactured using a 4 nm process and has eight cores (2 x Cortex-A715 2.8 GHz and 6 x Cortex-A510). Performance in the mid-range won’t be an issue at all.
These are all the technical specs that the manufacturer itself has provided to us so far, or that have appeared in leaks. However, it’s very likely that within the next few days the exact release date of this device will be confirmed, along with its other features. We also expect multiple models from the thirteenth series, including the base and cheapest variant, Redmi Note 13.
