The Xiaomi brand is going full throttle even right after the New Year celebrations in Europe. Soon, this local market will be the stage for the launch of a new mid-range smartphone series, the Redmi Note 14, from the Redmi subsidiary manufacturer.

Redmi Note 14: Global launch on 10. January
The Chinese manufacturer has announced that the much-anticipated new smartphone series, the Redmi Note 14, will make its global debut in just a few days—specifically on January 10, 2024. The launch has been long awaited, and this time it won’t just be a single smartphone.
What’s interesting is that a day earlier, on January 9, new POCO smartphones will also be introduced—the expected POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro—which will directly compete with the higher models from the Redmi Note 14 series.
Which Redmi Note 14 models can we expect?
At the event for the Xiaomi subsidiary brand, we should see at least five new models across different price categories. Some will be made in 4G versions, while others will come in a more powerful variant with faster 5G connectivity.

- Redmi Note 14 4G

It’s expected that each model will include the latest innovations from the Xiaomi brand, including top-tier AI-enabled camera sensors.

POCO smartphones one day earlier
In addition, a new series from the POCO subsidiary brand is also expected to hit the market. It should feature two devices: the POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro. The announcement of this pair is planned a bit earlier, for January 9, 2025.
So it looks like the affordable mid-range smartphone market will see a mild “explosion” right at the start of this year, and it’s expected that competing manufacturers will respond directly to these new devices. For now, we don’t know their retail prices yet. Those will be revealed in just a few days, at Redmi brand events in Europe.
