Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a huge high-brightness display
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ comes with an elegant design that flaunts an ultra-slim body just 7.91 mm thick and a weight of 210.8 g. It’s available in stylish colors: Midnight Black, Cloudy Blue, Cedar White, and Foggy Purple, so you can pick the shade that best fits your preferences.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1280 px and a maximum brightness of up to 3200 nits. This display will deliver sharp, bright visuals even in direct sunlight. A new backlighting type has also been used, often found in the latest flagship models.
The display is protected by durable Dragon Crystal Glass, which is up to 10 times more resistant to drops than regular glass. The display supports Wet Hand Touch 2.0, which means you can use it even with wet hands. The smoothness of the screen is proven not only by the 120 Hz refresh rate, but also by the 480 Hz touch sampling rate.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is also a very durable device. Unlike most other smartphones in this class, the new model comes with no fewer than 4 IP certifications — specifically IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. This means the phone can handle not only everyday exposure to water, but also high-pressure jets of hot water.
Such durability is very unusual in this price category. What’s more, the device also received a TÜV Süd certification for five-star long-term water resistance. Xiaomi, or rather Redmi, also states that the device can survive up to 50 drops from a height of 2 meters onto a granite surface.
A massive battery and extreme battery life
We’re continuing with the battery, because this will definitely be one of the biggest draws of the device. The 7000 mAh battery from the Xiaomi Jinsha River Battery division is without a doubt one of the main highlights of the new Redmi Note 15 Pro+, and at first glance it looks practically unmatched.
This massive battery will definitely ensure that even demanding users can use the phone all day without having to recharge it. Compared to typical smartphones that offer battery capacities roughly between 4500 mAh and 5000 mAh, Redmi goes even further.
We can’t really estimate what the real-world battery life of such a pack will be. With such a huge battery, it’s great that the new model supports fast charging — 90 W. That will make the phone charge very quickly, even if the battery is drained all the way to zero.
On the other hand, 22.5 W reverse charging lets you charge other devices, making the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ a practical and flexible companion every day. The manufacturer also states that the battery can handle up to 1600 charging cycles, meaning it will maintain high capacity even after several years of use.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ delivers performance comparable to more expensive models
One of the biggest new features that will impress every tech enthusiast is the use of the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip. Built on 4 nm technology, this chipset delivers high performance with low power consumption, allowing the device to handle even demanding tasks like multitasking, gaming graphically heavier titles, or using multiple apps at the same time.
Another standout improvement is the new Ice Sealed Cooling Pump system, covering up to 5200 mm² and ensuring up to three times higher heat-transfer efficiency. This cooled cooling solution keeps the phone cool even under maximum load and helps it maintain its original performance, making the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ one of the most powerful smartphones in its class.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is available in configurations with 12 GB RAM and 16 GB RAM, while internal storage starts at 256 GB and can reach up to 512 GB. This smartphone will give you more than enough space for all your apps, photos, and videos. Storage is UFS 2.2, and the RAM is LPDDR4X.
A camera with advanced features
Another strong point of the new device is its cameras, tailored to users’ needs for high-quality photos and video. The main sensor has a resolution of 50 MPx and offers a high dynamic range, so photos will be rich in detail with realistic colors.
The sensor comes from OmniVision and is a model called Light Hunter/Fusion 800. This camera is paired with a 2.5x telephoto lens that lets you capture subjects at greater distances without reducing image quality. The third lens is an 8 MPx ultra-wide-angle lens with 112° FOV, which is great for panoramas or shooting in tight spaces.
Besides its general zooming capabilities, it can also brag about great portrait-shooting skills—its built-in optical zoom, after all, features a “golden focal length” for this type of shot. On top of that, it also comes with support for advanced AI that automatically adjusts face details and enhances photos in real time.
On the front there is a 32 MPx selfie camera, delivering high photo quality even in poor lighting conditions. There are also advanced modes such as super night mode, time-lapse, or slow-motion video. The phone supports 4K video at 30 FPS, or 1080p video at 60 FPS.
There are also no compromises when it comes to connectivity
Another interesting addition in the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is its speaker setup. This model will be the first in the Xiaomi lineup to offer 400% volume with stereo speakers 1115. That means you’ll be able to listen to music or watch movies comfortably even in noisy environments without major issues.
On the other hand, communication options are also moving to a new level. 5G connectivity is already standard in this price category, and the phone also offers offline two-way communication, which lets you stay connected even in areas with very weak or no signal. The phone also supports sending messages via satellite.
The promise also sounds great for stronger signal reception in remote areas—such as underground parking lots or metro stations with weak coverage. This is thanks to the integration of the T1S chip and a special signal amplifier labeled Phase 8L.
They also help ensure stable reception for GPS and Wi‑Fi. Bluetooth is available in version 5.4, and Wi‑Fi comes in version 6E. NFC is also included for contactless payments in stores. Color options include Midnight Black, Smoky Purple, Snow White, and Sky Blue.
Price and availability
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone is currently available exclusively on the Chinese market. European sales haven’t started yet, and according to available information, we can expect a global version only sometime next year. That means the listed prices apply only to the China market, and pricing in Europe may differ.
