Legendary 64-megapixel Redmi Note 9 Pro in the 128 GB version for great 119 € in refurbished condition in an EU warehouse

At the start of the year 2020, the Redmi brand introduced a new generation of the Redmi Note 9 Pro model, which over the course of the year made its way into the best-selling Xiaomi smartphones. Its outstanding popularity is down to the fantastic price-to-performance ratio.

Refurbished model for a ridiculous price from an EU warehouse

Redmi Note 9 Pro with a 64 MPx camera ranks among the legendary smartphones from the Redmi brand. Even though it’s an older phone, it can still serve everyday users for a very long time.

A well-known European seller, Edwaybuy, brings refurbished, meaning restored units at bargain prices straight from its Polish warehouse. The 64 GB and 128 GB versions with 6 GB RAM are available. The advantage is that the seller offers a 1-year warranty, and you can even return the smartphone within 15 days if you’re not satisfied.

Even before you buy, we’ll just point out that we link to the German version of the Edwaybuy website. This is so that payment goes through in euros—because through the English version you can only buy in dollars, and given the exchange rate, the prices aren’t as advantageous.

If you don’t know German, just like us, you can use Google Translate to translate the website.

1. First, register your account using this link. If you already have an account, you just need to sign in.
2. Add the product to your cart using the “IN DEN WARENKORB” button (add to cart).
3. In the cart under the RABATTCODES section, you can apply a discount coupon:
4. Then click the “zur Kasse gehen” button, which means Proceed to checkout. You’ll be redirected to a page where you enter your address (without diacritics) and choose a payment method. Available is only PayPal payment. In this step, just to be safe, you can re-enter the coupon (if you didn’t enter it earlier) and you’ll also see the shipping total.
5. Confirm your order with the “Place Order Now” button.

A new design in the Redmi Note series

The 9th generation of the Redmi Note smartphone brings a completely new “Aura Balance” design, featuring a punch-hole cutout in the display for the camera and a new look for the rear camera. The smartphone comes in three colors – green, white, and gray.

Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a large 6,67-inch display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, FullHD+ resolution, Gorilla Glass 5 glass, and a TÜV Rheinland certification.

A nice surprise is keeping the 3.5 mm audio jack as well as the IR blaster for controlling home appliances. And there’s even NFC for contactless payments.

The fingerprint sensor is located in the side power button, which is actually quite practical in real life.

“Flagship-level cameras”

The Redmi brand presents a new 64 MPx camera in the Redmi Note 9 Pro—quite boldly.

They call it a “flagship-level” quad camera, and it should be the best shooter yet in the Redmi Note series.

The camera module includes these sensors:

• 64 MPx primary sensor Samsung GW1, sensor size 1/1.72″, 6P lens, f/1.89 aperture, 4K video
• 8 MPx wide-angle sensor with a field of view of 119°
• 5 MPx macro sensor for photos taken from 2 cm to 10 cm
• 2 MPx depth-of-field sensor
• The front features a 16 MPx selfie camera with an f/2.48 aperture

A major new feature in the Note 9 Pro is the ability to capture RAW photos for later detailed editing. Until now, no other Redmi Note smartphone could save RAW photos.

The feature set also includes a night mode and a new mode called “Pro Color”, which boosts saturation significantly. This mode even works before you take the photo, so you’ll see the difference directly on the display before you shoot.

A higher-class processor

At the heart of the Note 9 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, which belongs to the upper mid-range and offers really solid performance.

For the first time ever, a processor from the Snapdragon 7xx series has been used in a Redmi Note smartphone.

The processor is paired with 6 GB RAM, and you’ll also be able to choose a higher configuration with 8 GB RAM. The RAM chip is LPDDR4X, and Redmi also used fast UFS 2.1 storage with a maximum capacity of 128 GB.

However, the internal storage can be expanded by another 512 GB using a microSD card.

5020 mAh battery and fast charging

The biggest lure of every Redmi Note model has always been battery life. The Note 9 Pro Max is no different and comes with a solid 5020 mAh battery.

For the first time in this line of smartphones, we’re seeing proper fast charging, up to 33 W.

A great piece of news is that the adapter capable of this fast charging is included directly in the base package of the smartphone.

Thanks to fast charging, the smartphone can charge to 50% in just 30 minutes, which is a very decent result given the battery capacity.
