A few days ago, promotional posters went around the world, inviting people to the Redmi brand conference, taking place on December 10 in China. At it, a new smartphone, the Redmi K30, will be unveiled. The latest information reveals that these could also be Redmi smart speakers and a Redmi router.
In December, Redmi will unveil several new products
Lu Weibing, Xiaomi vice president and CEO of the Redmi brand, in a new media interview partially revealed Redmi brand plans. Uvowed that Xiaomi previously designed a strategy for two premium smartphones and an Artificial Intelligence of Things – AIoT.
Redmi adopted the model “1 + 4 + X”, where the “4” refers to four product categories. These include Smart TVs and laptops that were introduced earlier, as well as routers and smart speakers. It seems that the “1” refers to the company’s primary category, which is smartphones.
Lu Weibing said that their brand has also launched a smart TV and laptops. The other products announced will therefore be wireless routers and smart speakers. It was also confirmed that these devices will hit the market next month and, according to the brand’s general manager, they will be released together with the Redmi K30 smartphone.
No specific information about the announced devices has been released yet. It’s likely that the new router and smart speakers will also stick to Redmi’s vision—bringing customers the best value for money (price-to-performance).
