After it was announced that the upcoming smartphone Redmi 10X will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset, we also learned another, very important piece of information. During the same event, the manufacturer will also unveil a lineup of TVs.
The teaser reveals the screen diagonals
Xiaomi’s subsidiary, Redmi, shared a teaser not only for the unveiling of the aforementioned Redmi 10X. A few hours later, the brand’s CEO, Lu Weibing, shared another teaser showing the Redmi TV X50, X55 and X65, along with information about a more affordable phone with 5G connectivity.
Honestly, we really don’t know much about the upcoming X50, X55 and X65 TVs yet. However, the company’s CEO says these TVs will excel not only in their design, but also in picture and sound quality—he also emphasized the presence of smart features.
The TVs will compete with Realme models
The official unveiling will take place on May 26, exactly one day after Realme presents its own TV lineup. As for the Redmi 10X, you can expect a total of four color variants.
The smartphone will hit the market in dark blue, purple, gold, and white. There’s also talk of a “Pro” version being released alongside the base model.
We also know the model names of both devices. M2004J7AC stands for the base model, while M2004J7BC is for the upgraded version. TENAA certification leaks also revealed a set of three cameras on the back, along with a Full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Most of the known data suggests that the two variants will differ only in the quality of the cameras. A certain teaser shows a quartet of cameras on the back of the Redmi 10X Pro. Well, in the end, we’re just as curious about what Redmi 26. has prepared for us in May.
Redmi 10X could be the next big shot
We have no doubt that the Redmi 10X, along with its second, better-equipped version, will be another hit—at least in its home market, China, since we can’t be sure about the smartphone’s global availability just yet.
The TVs and even the phone model itself still look very promising, so we’re looking forward to their official unveiling. For more info, definitely keep following Xiaomi Planet as we definitely won’t forget to update you about new releases.
