Xiaomi is bringing another practical product to its Mijia lineup for the smart home. This time, it’s a smart dishwasher that will be sold under the name Xiaomi Mijia Internet Dishwasher.

It will come with internet connectivity, control via a mobile app, and an intelligent assistant XiaoAI.
Mobile app and intelligent assistant
The new Mijia Internet Dishwasher features a front panel design made of straight lines, and it also has a minimalist finish inspired by the other products from the brand aimed at the home market. The 60 cm width matches the current market standard, so the dishwasher can be installed in practically any modern kitchen.
On the front there’s a single control element—a small OLED screen that also includes a circular control dial. It lets you configure a total of 9 wash modes, from the fast mode (just 11 minutes) to a high-clean setting (up to 142 minutes).
The dishwasher also uses a 3D spray mechanism that uses different water jets in all directions. It also has a hot-air drying system capable of reaching a temperature of 70 ° C.
The new dishwasher also includes full control via the Mi Home, app, and it additionally supports the Chinese voice assistant XiaoAI.
That means you can control the device not only via voice commands, but also automate starting it together with the rest of your home appliances and accessories within the Xiaomi ecosystem.

The price is very attractive
The Xiaomi Mijia Internet Dishwasher will go on sale on February 24, 2020, but availability is expected mainly in the domestic Chinese market. In pre-order, its price starts at just 1999 yuan, which is about €262 / 6584 Kč.
After the pre-order period ends, the standard selling price will be set at 2299 yuan, which in the current conversion is approximately 301 euros / 7573 Kč. Availability outside China is rather unrealistic.
