POCO is preparing a global launch of its highly anticipated POCO F7. This smartphone will be the international version of the Chinese model Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is set to debut on April 24, 2025.
POCO F7 reveal in our FB group
Xiaomi fans worldwide can’t wait for this device, which promises a combination of powerful hardware, a great design, and an affordable price.
Powerful chip set of the new generation
Even though the specs of the global POCO F7 are not confirmed at all yet, based on the previous models POCO F7 Pro and Ultra, there’s more than enough reason to believe they will match its Chinese sibling, Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. So this article is based specifically on the parameters of the Chinese version under the Redmi brand.
At the heart of the POCO F7 is the Snapdragon 8s Gen4 chipset, which slots into the upper mid-range—yet its performance is comparable to some of today’s flagship models. Built on a modern 4nm process, this chip delivers not only high performance, but also efficient power management.
In benchmarks like AnTuTu (over 2,4 million points) or Geekbench, the chipset achieves excellent results that will be more than enough even for demanding users and gamers.
The POCO F7 will come with a huge flat display with a 6.83-inch diagonal and a 1.5K resolution. It will use an LTPS panel with very thin bezels—just 1.5 mm on three sides and a 1.9 mm bottom chin. This design creates a modern, elegant look while also enhancing your enjoyment of multimedia and games.
A massive battery of 7000 mAh plus fast charging
Even though the global version of POCO F7 will have a slightly smaller battery than the Chinese one (7550 mAh), it will still be a battery with a capacity of around 7,000 mAh. On top of that, it gets 90 W fast charging, ensuring quick power replenishment even with such a large capacity.
On the back, you’ll find a pair of cameras—a 50 MPx main sensor and an 8 MPx ultra-wide lens. The front camera hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but a minimum 16 MPx sensor is expected. For biometric security, there’s a short-range optical fingerprint sensor built into the display.
The new POCO F7 will also stand out with its build quality. Its body will be made from aerospace-grade aluminum processed with CNC and sandblasting. The construction is designed to withstand pressure up to 70 kg without damage, and the device will feel great in the hand thanks to the large R-edges and a glass back panel with a matte finish.
Global availability of POCO F7
While the Chinese version starts selling on April 24 under the name Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, the global edition of POCO F7 will be released shortly after. Most specifications are expected to stay the same, with the exception of the battery.
The price hasn’t been officially announced yet. However, a report from the Chinese operator China Telecom has surfaced, stating a price of 2099 CNY (Chinese yuan). That would work out to roughly about 290 USD or 250 EUR. Still, keep in mind that this is an unofficial price and may differ from the final price. Also, the global market price will definitely be higher. In Europe, the price could be around €400.
