The online space is teeming with various reports and rumors about upcoming Xiaomi phones. The refresh of Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is still expected, and recently there were even reports about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 10.
However, the most reliable info comes about the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, which should be officially announced later this month.
Complete specs
On social media, Twitter user Sudhanshu Ambhore shares a post with the specs of an unreleased smartphone. The front camera parameters, however, suggest it could be the expected Xiaomi CC9 Pro after all. An official statement about the presentation date is expected as early as next week.
The new smartphone should feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and a cutout for the front camera. It should capture in 32 MPx resolution, fitting perfectly into the Xiaomi CC smartphone lineup. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor integrated directly into the display.
At the heart of the new Xiaomi will be the Snapdragon 730G chipset, and the phone will come with Andorid Q 10.0 preinstalled. The specs currently show only one memory version: 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. No other configuration is available yet.
It will be all about top-tier cameras
The primary focus in the Xiaomi CC9 Pro will be the cameras. The phone should include the highly anticipated 108 MPx Samsung sensor, which was first introduced in Mi MIX Alpha.
Since Alpha isn’t meant for the general public, the possible Xiaomi CC9 Pro will be the first smartphone with this sensor that’s available to everyone.
This innovative sensor should be complemented by a 13 MPx ultra-wide sensor and an 8 MPx telephoto lens.
The upcoming phone should have a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging rated at over 20 W. It will probably be 27-watt fast charging technology. From the equipment, we can also mention a infrared port and an NFC module.
The Xiaomi CC9 Pro won’t be cheap, and the 108 MPx sensor comes with a price tag. The launch price of the 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage version should be 2599 yuan, which comes to approximately €330 / 8 468 CZK.
