We’ve spotted a big information leak about upcoming news from the brand Amazfit, which makes really great-equipped smartwatches at interesting prices. We learned about two upcoming models.
The leak suggests that Amazfit is preparing a new generation of the T-Rex Pro model with the “2” numbering. Also coming will be a new Amazfit Vienna model, which will stand out mainly for its titanium case and sapphire glass.
Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2
Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 will, based on leaked photos, have a very similar look to the first generation. That means you can again expect a durable plastic body and a silicone strap.
However, it will come with several new color options with labels Astro Black and Gold, Wild Green and Desert Khaki. As for the display, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 will get a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels and a maximum brightness of up to 1,000 nits.
Ruggedness will be up to the 10 ATM level, plus it will also come with the military certification MIL-STD-810G. The biometric sensor will also be upgraded, called BioTracker 3.0 PPG. It will reliably measure heart rate as well as blood oxygen saturation.
There won’t be a lack of measurements for over 150 activities, PAI score, plus sleep and stress. For route recording, there will be dual-band GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0 will also be included.
A battery with a capacity of 500 mAh should provide enough battery life for 24 days, or 10 days of intensive use. For maximum smoothness, it will have 32 MB RAM and a 512-megabyte storage.
Amazfit Vienna
This model will be more premium, thanks to titanium and a sapphire crystal. The watches will feature a 1.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels and brightness up to 1,000 nits.
When it comes to health tracking and the ability to measure sports activities, this will be identical to the Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 model. However, they won’t have a speaker for making calls or an eSIM slot.
In this case, water resistance will be increased up to 20 ATM, and storage will also be boosted to 4 GB. A battery with the same capacity of 500 mAh should ensure up to 14 days of normal use.
It’s expected that the pair of new Amazfit watches will hit the market already this year. We don’t know the price and availability yet.
