Our detailed review:
Wanbo X5: Stylish Full HD projector with 1100 ANSI and Wi‑Fi 6
Wanbo is known for its stylish design, and the Wanbo X5 model is no exception. It has an elongated build measuring 26.5 x 23.5 x 11.9 cm, with a total weight of 2.6 kg. The housing is finished in matte white, but it also features shiny, as well as matte gold elements on the front.
It comes with an LCD display lens and support for Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). It also has automatic focus and automatic correction of keystone distortion. The recommended viewing distance is 1.3 – 4 meters, with a screen size of from 40″ up to 120″.
Android TV 9.0, dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0
Another big advantage is the integrated stand, which lets you improve the projection angle from 0° to 12°. You also get 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio options, plus 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The operating system is Android TV 9.0.
Excellent connectivity is handled by dual Wi‑Fi 6 connection, as well as Bluetooth 5.0. An immersive audio experience is provided by a pair of stereo speakers (2 x 5 W). The port selection includes an AV port for power, plus 2 x USB 2.0, an HDMI connector, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
In the box you’ll find the projector itself, the Wanbo X5, along with original accessories from the manufacturer. You’ll also get the power cable with a local plug for the mains (EU Plug, 220 – 240 V / 50 – 60 Hz). It also includes accessories such as a remote control, plus a brief user manual and the initial device setup—traditionally in English.
