Advanced laser technology
The company Wemax uses in its One Pro projector advanced laser display technology ALPD 3.0, developed by Appotronics. This technology is used in many cinemas around the world. The acronym ALPD comes from the name Advanced Laser Phosphor Display.
ALPD 3.0 delivers better and more accurate color reproduction, high contrast, and last but not least protects your eyes. Compared to LCD displays, it produces less blue light.
Short-throw projector and 150″ image
Thanks to the laser technology and a depth of focus of 0.233:1, the Wemax One Pro only needs to be placed 50 cm from the wall. That way, you can place it right on the TV console in your living room without any problems. With this projector, you can be sure that nobody will run in front of the image and ruin your viewing experience.
The picture you get can be up to 150″, so you can enjoy an amazing movie experience comfortably at home. The projector’s native resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, but it can also play content in 4K resolution.
Unlike classic lamp projectors, the laser projector doesn’t need to warm up and you don’t have to manually adjust the focus. It handles everything on its own.
Beautiful colors, high contrast, and a long lifespan
Thanks to the 85 % NTSC color gamut, you get a great picture with rich, vivid colors. The static contrast ratio is at a high value of 3000:1, and brightness reaches an excellent level of up to 7000 lumens (1688 ANSI lumens).
A big advantage is that the projector has certified 7000 lumens. We often come across labeling that only mentions lumens, which isn’t any guarantee that the product truly delivers the stated number of lumens. Here, though, you can be confident, because the Wemax One Pro projector has certification.
No worries about the lifespan either, because the declared minimum is 25 000 hours, which is roughly 1041 full days. If you use the projector 2 hours per day, it’ll last you 34 years.
Great sound and more parameters
The Wemax One Pro won’t disappoint even when it comes to sound. It hides two powerful, wideband speakers plus two additional hi-fi speakers that take care of a cinema-like sound effect.
You can set 3 light modes: enhanced, movie, and normal. The color temperature is also adjustable in three levels: standard, cool, and warm.
The projector has a powerful 4-core processor T968 Cortex-A53 with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz and RAM memory of 2 GB. There’s also 16 GB of ROM memory.
There’s the MIUI TV operating system, and it is in English. As for connectivity, you’ll find Ethernet, 2 x SPDIF, audio out, AV 3.5, USB 3.0, ARC, 2 x HDMI 2.0, and 1 USB 2.0 port.
Wireless connectivity and how you can use it
The Wemax One Pro laser projector comes with a remote control and voice command control or Bluetooth in version 4.0. There’s also 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi.
You can also use this projector, for example, to mirror your smartphone screen.
Thanks to the mentioned specs, it’s truly a great projector for demanding users. You’ll definitely be extremely satisfied with it.
