We bought them too—actually, they look even better in real life

After our very positive experience with the sport sneakers from the RAX brand, we decided to order another model to test. This time, we were interested in the winter / hiking shoes—they’re higher up and, according to the manufacturer, water-resistant. We placed the order on February 5th, when celebrations for Chinese New Year were still taking place in China. That’s why they were shipped a little later.

Since we had several parcels ordered at that time, AliExpress delivered them as “Combined Delivery”. This service takes more time, because the AliExpress warehouse in Europe is waiting for the other packages. Final delivery happened on 8. March—so it took a little over a month to arrive.

On the spot, the shoes look even better than in the photos. We were surprised by their fairly low weight, but at the same time the workmanship is very high quality. In terms of design, they’re more sporty than basically any other shoes from the RAX range.

After measuring our feet, we ordered size 42—the one we normally wear—and the shoes fit perfectly, absolutely spot on.

Because these are higher-cut shoes, once you tighten the laces properly you can use them without any problem even for hiking. Better grip on the surface is also helped by the outsole, which features a distinct “trail” pattern.

Maximum comfort and a combination of quality materials

The shoes are breathable and very comfortable to wear. A combination of multiple materials was used in production, including some of the more valuable ones, like leather or rubber. They’re great not only for everyday walks, but they perform really well for hiking too.

They won’t be bothered by cold winter weather and can handle snow, yet they stay pleasantly lightweight. Available sizes are from 6,5 to 12, so everyone can find their perfect fit. For peace of mind, we recommend checking the right size directly on the seller’s page, where you’ll find a table with exact sizes in centimeters too.

Besides a wide range of sizes, you can choose from different colors, such as black, gray, or khaki. The outsole absorbs impacts well, which increases comfort. The front part of the outsole also includes rubber particles, giving it higher strength but also flexibility.

The shoes are water-resistant and have memory foam insoles

That these shoes are suitable for off-road conditions is also proven by their water resistance. The insoles are made of memory foam, so even from the first steps you’ll feel how it adapts to your feet. This helps prevent pressure points, making walking light and comfortable. You definitely won’t be bothered by discomfort even after wearing them for a long time.
